#thinkpinkart-Paint on Glass tutorial with DecoArt products

Hello Everyone!  Hope you're having a great October. It's going to be over soon. Time is flying by!

I'm sharing with you today with my Creative Arts Collaboration group.
This month our hashtag is #thinkpinkart
You can use the hashtag in the YouTube search engine and find all the artists that are creating this month.  Our theme is cancer awareness.

I've done some painting on glass!  I used a store bought frame, painted the glass and put it back together with a gelli print background. I love how it turned out!
I rubbed some DecoArt metallic lustre on the edge of the frame.

Here's my YouTube Video

I love the effects!!  Hope you'll go over to DecoArt and get your products today!

DecoArt Mixed Media Camaro Card

I have a mixed media card today.
The order is for a 17 year old boyfriend that loves Camaro's.
Here's what I came up with.
I mixed some DecoArts Metallic Lustre to DecoArt Texture paste and used it thru a great brick stencil made by Retta's Stencils.
I saw this cool design on pinterest!!  I had to try it.  I found the picture of the Camaro on pinterest too. It's a handy little place!  I used dimensional s to pop the car up in the front. Once it was in place, I rubbed some of the Shimmer Black Metallic Lustre Wax randomly over the front of the card.
Here's the inside. Pretty cool huh?

Deco Art Metallic Wax-AMAZING STUFF

I picked up this frame at an Estate sell. It had been in the basement a long time. I left it out to air-but the basement smell would not go away!  My husband suggested spray painting it to seal it.
I said WHAT!  This is a beautiful wood frame-I don't want to ruin it!
I let it air some more.  The smell wasn't going away.

So we sprayed it gloss white. I had decided to make put something contemporary looking in it.

Then I remembered.....Deco Art Metallic Wax and Antiquing Cream.
I put a coat of carbon black antiquing cream on first.
let it dry.
Take a damp cloth and wipe to reveal the beautiful design of the frame.
Take a dry cloth and rub the Gold Metallic Wax to highlight the raised edges.
Here's a close up of the amazing finished frame!!!!  Isn't it beautiful?

Look for Deco Art products.  I give the Antiquing Cream and Metallic Wax a big thumbs up!!
