Bought a new Valentine's stamp set the day after Christmas @ Michael's 40% off. Just had to start playing with it! The stamp set is Recollections. The background paper: Road Show by Fancy Pants. I distressed a paper doily with Tim Holtz red ink then cut it in half. You tell real good-but I put glossy accents all over the cupid & then added 3 small half pearls (from stampin up)

PPA125 Tag You're It!!
adding some money to the gift. Wanted to get in on the PPA Challenge. I versa marked snowflakes on the navy blue & embossed with SU Iridesscent Ice. Ripped a piece of "snow" for the bottom. Punched a hole in the top of the diecut tag & ran my string thru & tied a bow on it. I glued the tag to the envelope & you open it to find the money! Dad will be so excited!!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #7
Word Art Wednesday challenge is always focused on scripture. With Christmas coming up this scripture is so perfect. Glory to God is what we need to be focusing on in our preparation of this wonderful holiday. We're celebrating our Lord's birth! God shared His most precious son with us. How he loves us!
It took me several days-drying time to create mine on canvas. I used mod podge and layered ripped pieces of wall paper for the background. Around the bottom right edge I added some ripped pages of a french dictionary.
Distressed my scripture cutout and added it next. Cut out LOVE and the large heart with my cricut. Started stamping around the edges using Tim Holtz Vintage photo & berry distress ink. Lastly I added 3 vintage buttons.
I love the finished project. I have a frame ready for it. After Christmas-it's going up on my wall @ work for inspiration.

Glitter Rose Card CCC148
Cherry Cobbler paper embossed with stampin up rose. I highlighted with red glitter glue on inside edges & silver glitter glue on the edges of the petals. I needed it to pop a little more so I skimmed across the edges with black sharpie. I coated the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.
Tried to get a close up of the glitter glue. Looks much better in person!

Happiness Always PSC11 & PPA124
The Challenge: Create a card that reflects an "Anniversary" sentiment.
The Twist: Use the following photo as inspiration for your card. You can be inspired by the colors, textures, whatever suits your fancy. I inked the edges of the lace with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink. The sentiment happiness always is from stampin up. Flowers are prima with a tiny brad in the center.
I embossed this piece of black cardstock & then used my Stampin Up Sander to sand the pattern to get.
I colored this piece of chipboard with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink. Didn't try to cover it solid-I like the light & dark spots.
Voila! My finished card. I wanted soft & romantic. I can't seem to do that! I love the vintage feel. I also used the sketch from Pals Paper Arts Challenge #124 |

Perfect Sentiments Challenge 10
Christmas Joy | I used a LOTV stamp-cause I love furbabies. Added a small tree with a SU stamp. Used SU dazzling details on the santa hat & other small details. The ribbon has sparkle & shine. |
I used crystal embossing powder on the JOY. Of course I had to distress the edges of everything. Added some bling stars as well. I really like the way it turned out. Now-who do I send it to?? |
Haven't had time to participate in last few weeks. Had to jump back in-so I was in my craft room @ 6AM this morning!! Determined to make a gorgeous card. The challenge was a Christmas card with glitter-sparkle-shine. I love all three! Hope you like my card-I think it's adorable.

Christmas Tags
I was inspired by Tim Holtz 12 days of tags. Unfortunately I don't have the many different tools & inks, etc that he has! So I just did my own thing. Love making them. Little works of art.
I can't figure out how to get these to flip! LOL. Hope it doesn't make you sick looking at them!
New Cross stamp-embossed with Stampin-N-Stuff gold power. Distress edges. |

Love using distress ink. This pretty brown ribbon is from Stampin Up.
Cricut Lite cut the Joy & circle | Used Stampin up cherry cobbler embossing powder on the top image. |
