The newly repackaged Bremlin Nebulas (Kalyshi), Glambek Ghosts(Ada-Lorana), Sulentic Shards (Crystallans), and Fran-Taar Philosphers (Tsudochan) are now available to pre-order from the Mantic Website. Each of these team boxes now includes a reference sheet, with your team's stats and rules clearly laid out for use in your games. There's also a Team Captain, with their own stat card and a deck of captain cards - a new feature of second edition that gives your captain new abilities on the pitch. PRE-ORDER HERE BREMLIN NEBULAS The Kalyshi choose to play DreadBall in especially light armour, which enhances their preternatural agility. They run rings round their opponent on the pitch, before striking like an arrow to the heart. The Kalyshi's agility makes up for their slight frames and low armour. They are vicious fighters, able to run around or jump over opposing players, before striking them like a sharpened blade. Find out more about the Kalyshi in this blog, or pre-order your team here! GLAMBEK GHOSTS The Ada-Lorana will not break the rules of DreadBall, but the rules of physics are another matter entirely. They have the ability to phase through solid objects, which takes some pretty serious getting-used-to for their opponents. The Ada-Lorana's phasing ability is a powerful tool on the pitch. It allows them to move around unhindered and although they cannot carry the ball while they do this, it does mean they can put themselves in the right place at the right time. SULENTIC SHARDS The Crystallans’ unique physical characteristics mean that when all of their energies are aligned few teams can match them. When they are not, there is always the option of just slamming down anyone who gets in their way. Crystallans work best as a team, rather than individual players. Taking proper advantage of the Harmonics ability turns your average Crystallan into a super player. Find out more about the Crystallans in this blog, or pre-order your team here! FRAN-TAAR PHILOSOPHERS The Tsudochan appear relatively unremarkable, until you watch what they can do with their ’powers’. These can move other players from either side out of the way, or into a blocking position that can halt their opponents, as the Tsudochan decide. Although they aren't physically powerful, the Tsudochan's psychic abilities can be difficult for any opponent to deal with. At will, they can push other players or the ball around the pitch, disrupting any carefully laid plans while putting their own schemes into action. Plus, if you're a Deadzone fan, make sure you scroll to the bottom of this message for a sneak peek at the brand new supplement, Deadzone: Outbreak! 7TH JULY - DREADBALL UK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Play the galaxy's greatest sports game and rise to the top as you compete against other coaches for the title of UK National Champion! This awesome 1-day event includes 4 games of DreadBall and a free lunch - plus some great prizes for attendees. There will also be the chance to play against Mantic staff too. Please try and stop Rob becoming the UK Champion - he'll be unbearable if he wins. Pick up your tickets here! 16TH-17TH JUNE - KINGS OF WAR DOUBLES TOURNAMENT Choose your partner and fight side by side on the battlefield of Mantica. This 2-day event features 5 exciting games of Kings of War with free lunch on both days. Last year it was one of the highlights of our tournament calendar and this year promises to be even better. It's always a great weekend away too, with the chance to potentially have a pint alongside Ronnie in the evening. MARS ATTACKS LAST CHANCE After June 30th, you'll no longer be able to purchase Mars Attacks products in their retail packaging. Although we'll still be offering unpackaged miniatures as part of web-only deals or bundles. DEADZONE: OUTBREAK Deadzone: Outbreak is coming soon and next week we'll be going over all of the content - including the brand new Nameless faction - over on the Mantic Blog.
