The photoshop war?

First of all... I'm not into politic. Don't summoned me cuz I'm an innocent gurl *wink*

But in few month's recent I kept reading on what's going on in Malaysia via blog (precisely bog war !!!!). I got a big addiction after reading Tun Dr. Mahathir's blog and I make sure to visit it every single day, In the mean time.. I do spend my time reading articles in Malaysia Today. I read both sides of the story.. okeh !!!!

In 1998 (which most of you know what happened) I'm got fascinated over people who do graphics / photoshoped / satire to portrayed the politic situation in Malaysia in a creative way. Some that I can recall is.. Photoshoping Tun Det's face as a Jedi (in Starwars: The Return of The Jedi poster if I'm not mistaken) and DSAI and his wife as Luke Skywalker and his GF. I wish I had kept all that pictures before because it was so hilarious.

Few minutes ago I found this over Malaysia Today and I decided to share it with your guys...

First........

Pak Lah.. as people claimed he is "a terrible sleepy head" does portrayed this picture perfectly.. don't you think ?

I quote what some commentator say about Pak Lah.

"I might not like Abdullah but I must certainly admire his skills. He looks stupid, he talks stupid, he acts stupid, but a man who can you think is stupid is cleverer than you"

Forgive me for quoting a vulgar quote. But that was what they'd written completely... Ouch ! Ouch !


Second.......

I'm freaking scared.... I am shivered to the bone. Her body already incinerated to ashes ... supposedly gone with the wind peacefully, but her soul (in the circulating smoke) comes back for "revenge" and exposing the truth to us. Oh my.. never messed with the people who had been murdered.

If you know who had edited this "poster" please let me know.. I would like to credit em' in here.

CS2: I'd "lost" my skill..... :(

Mind you.. I haven't touch my Photoshop CS2 for quite a while... Usually I'd spent few hours learning online tutorials for Photoshop and practicing it. Since I'd started working and had suffered my calf's injury too, I nearly forget certain techniques and I didn't even try to re-call it back... hehehe...

So, today I'm messing around with my Photoshop and try to do few simple techniques that I'm rarely use it.

It's called

Creating a " scene" with Lasso magnetic tools and Blur tools.

Simple technique.. simple principal..


1) Select the object that you want it to be clear (example: your face)

2) Invert the Lasso tools and it will select your background image ((the object you want it to be blur)

3) Adding Motion blur or any kind of blur tools that suitable

I know.. I know.. Not a good one... I'd taken my picture with my SE camera phone.. it's pretty sharp okeh... 2 Mega Pixel ma !

err.. I DO realize this shot is a little bit retard... but it is still a contagious picture to look at... *laugh*

Layout Update !!!!

Fuh !!! Fuh !!! (Buang sawang jap...)

Akhirnya siap jugak layout baru yang dah lama bertangguh... Takdelah banyak jauh beza.. lagipun aku buat secara peringkat-peringkat. Takdelah sampai kejung orang tengok page aku. Aku cuma tukar banner dan buang wallpaper belakang ajer. Daripada korang dok fikir kenapa aku masih letak banner ucapan Ramadhan baik terus tukar ajer banner.

Ramai tanya, kenapa tak mau buat complete layout. Jawapan aku senang ajer... MALAS !!!!! Aku dah tentu tak mau letak design orang.. nak kena bagi credits sebagainya. Nak pulak pastikan web boleh dilihat guna FireFox atau Opera browser. Aku paling malas nak configure XML utk blog. Memandangkan diri nie bukanlah arif mana tentang Blogspot setting maka aku cuma pakai "plain black" basic layout yang sedia ada, tambah sedikit sebanyak kreativiti aku untuk membuat beberapa design dan tukar setting utk font, background picture, color, line span, font style, hover, margin serta wrapper.

Sebenarnya nak juga buat tutorial utk HTML setting for Blogspot nie (Lyana ask me to do some XML tutorial too). Tapi aku belum lagi tahu semua coding's function yg Blogspot dah tetapkan. Tunggu ya... give me a few more days.

Ehem.. my banner yang baru tue kira design paling simple yang pernah dibuat.. tapi nak memilih photoshop "brush design" tue yang payah. Sudahlah malas nak buat, tambah pulak aku memang cerewet pilih brush. Kena pulak fikir design yg sesuai untuk website. Maka dengan itu semata-mata nak buat banner ajer boleh makan masa satu jam. Memang tak boleh kerja sebagai professional designer. Freelance ajerlah.. huhuhuhu

In case you wondering, apeke hal minah nie asyik guna warna hitam, putih ngan kelabu ajer... Otak dah kelabu asap aper ?? Hem.. nak buat camana yer.... dah aku memang suker dua warna tue utk. layout basic color. Very universal color... nanti lain kali aku buat background warna lain lah pulak. Blog aku bukan famous pun... suka hati aku lah *larikkkk !!!!!!!!!

Apa yang penting.. korang takdelah pening kepala bila masuk website nie...biar mudah dibaca (harap2 lah ye...).. aku paling pantang kalau website ada dua scroll-bar (sebelah kanan dan bawah). Tambah pulak lagi dengan kotak2 yg tak patut ada kat website tue..... Semak !!!!!

Alamak, aku tak buat Teaching Module lagik. Jumaat dah presentation..... uwaaaaaaa !!!!!

New Design

Hye folks..... let me entertaint you with my new design...... This my assignment given by Mr.Manager 2 weeks ago.... He asked me to design Dafi's FC for Myspace (with upah okay... no free of charge LOL... seriously)

Personally i like this design because i've spent two weeks to think what i should include in Dafi's Banner (macam banner ke?... no lar..)

The first picture is not a font style.... it's a combination of picture rotation, polar coordinates, basic font, layer color enhancement and stylize "wind" (you can found it in any version of Adobe Photoshop) .... so you can see the shape is like 2 wings type...... it's kinda hard to do.. especially when i have to coordinates the font....

The second picture i'd use several medium.... which is

1) A picture of normal "sunrise" stranded desert

2) A picture of Dafi.. (credits: Astro)

3) Angry Clouds: Photoshop Brushes

4) Nature "Lightning": Photoshop Brushes

Noticed that the sky were in maroonic+pink with yellowish colour.... i'd editted the desert picture in Vicman's Photo tool Kit "lighting style"... save it in JPEG. format.... you can get this software free of charge !!!!!!

After edit the lighting....Open the Adobe Photoshop CS2 program add some Angry Clouds (of your choice) and Lightning (of your choice) by using Photoshop Brushes... you can search it in internet..... make sure you use the proper brush.. or you pic. look disaster.....

To make Dafi's figure more darker.... add layer style.. choose "Color Overlay".. choose Black colour... set opacity to 80% max.

To add border.... open new files... set the size (must be more than the design's size).... preferablely use black as your border... or maybe white... it depends what you like lar....

"Merged" the design layer...or if you don't want to merged it.... save the design as a jpeg. copy (without interrupt the PSD. copy) then using the jpeg. file to paste above the new file that contains the black background.....

your design now complete with borders....

Hello all my blog readers... hari nie Aziya pegi [ theBACHELOR ] party... kiranya this is the first event of [ theBACHELOR ] and it's a perfect time to impressed our guest of our missions and visions.... Oh ya tapi sebelum itu... Aziya nak ucapkan Selamat Menyambut Maulidur-Rasul kepada pembaca beragama Islam.... mari kita bersalawat ke atas Nabi junjungan kita, Nabi Muhammad atas segala pengorbanan baginda mempertahankan agama Allah S.W.T yang terus kekal di dunia ini... Raw Design...

while you waiting for my next new page.. let me intertain you with this pic.

I'd done this design last week just a raw design for Vince's further cover album (i don't think he will pick this one hehehe).... saja2 buat cover album... maybe he can get new ideas for his album.... well his picture are belong to me because i'd snap it during his show in Giant Shah Alam last year..... i'll show you guys further design..... but currently i'm lack of Vince's new picture.. and all the pic. collection weren't suitable for cover album....... hehhe

The first design were 100% opaque... i must admit it does look like "Gay Porn Poster" hahahhahah.. so i decide to reduce the opaque level.. and walla.. here it is... (i'm not sure it u think this one does look like Gay Star too.. ewww..) pls. click to enlarge it....

Well.. my page was still under construction but i received new job from a rising [ theBACHELOR ] ... i need to create a simple but attractive design of leaflet ... well.. i'm still new for photoshop cs2 brushes... and i think this what i can think of... since my mom were very sick ...............

Getting a new inspirations

Since my Photoshop CS2 is working back.. (due to several damage on the program) , I've spend my time today find new 'brushes' for the program or tutorials..... i think i have to work out the brushing skills to maximum level on me.. i'll start learn back PSCS2 e-book tomorrow to see what can i do...... ~~~*sigh
only this 2 weeks i can focused on my hobbyand i'll try to do it the best i can....
