Historic Locust Grove!

Historic Locust Grove, as we know it in Louisville, was shrouded in snow today. This was once home to the founder of Louisville, George Rogers Clark, who also was a Revolutionary War hero. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition stopped here on their journey to the Pacific. This house is such a grand old home and has several outbuildings amongst its many acres. There are many functions held here throughout the year, but I prefer to visit when there's no special occasion just to take in the grandeur of the old mansion and its grounds. Apparently, there's more snow on the way next week. Have a great weekend all! ENJOY!
