dollars a year, it would take 24 years.  Second, the Good

 News:  It's only money!

What if you were promised one trillion one-dollar bills

 on the condition that you had to count them first at the

 rate of one dollar per second. Do you know how long it 

would take you to count them? Approximately 12,684

displayed a 'hockey stick' spike in the national debt

 in the not-too-distant future, they responded, “Yeah, 

but we won’t be here."

Where have all those Republican 'Deficit Hawks' 

gone?  Alas, they have become 'Budget-Busting

 Chickens' of the Foghorn Leghorn persuasion.

While the wealthy are enjoying their big Trump tax cut next

 year, a tax cut estimated to add $2 trillion to our current

 national debt of $21.5 trillion, we will be paying $390 

billion in interest on that debt.

The federal budget deficit for Fiscal Year 2017 was $668

 billion. Talking 'tax cuts' right now is definitely a symptom
