Planner Bookmark

I'm sharing my latest planner accessory made using Crafty Ribbons supplies... I've taken a couple of big buttons, 3 inches of elastic and some of my favourite ribbon; grosgrain Swiss dots .  I chose the ribbon and buttons to match the front of my Pirongs planner. I attached the stripey button to one end of the ribbon with a few stitches of blingy old thread.  On the other end of the ribbon, I attached the spotty button and the loop of elastic.  Then simply wrap the ribbon around the planner and hook the stretchy loop over the stripey button.  I also added a length of the same ribbon to the spiral binding using a larks head knot to use as a bookmark. The buttons I chose are 34mm wide and you can find them here and here . Thanks for stopping by!

Monkey's Fist Bookmark

Hi Folks!  I'm here today with a quick nautical bookmark for Crafty Ribbons... I took two lengths of  By The Sea Lighthouse ribbon and sewed them back to back turning the ends under neatly.  I then grabbed some garden twine and found a tutorial to make a monkey's fist knot.  I work better with visual instructions so I found a video to follow along with. I attached this at the bottom and was finished.  I think it has quite a big impact for something that took very little work! Thanks for looking!

Snoopy!

Hi Guys!  Today I am sharing this little bookmark... It is really simple to make.  Take one length of ribbon mine is rounghly 10cm.  Turn the raw edges under so there is no fraying.  Add two pieces of magnetic tape, one at each end on the reverse side of the ribbon.  That's it! The ribbon folds over a page in your book, or in this case my planner, and you have your page marked. I've used Snoopy ribbon which you can find here!

Altered Cracker Gift

It's my turn over at Crafty Ribbons Inspirations today... One of the cracker gifts that I have saved from the Christmas festivities is a metal bookmark.  I wanted to pretty it up with ribbons.  I also received a chocolate cook book as a gift so I thought why not use the chocolate ribbons and make it matching... It was simple to personalise... just pick your ribbons, tie them on, et voilà! Of course I had to test it in the chocolate cook book which meant drooling over several recipes to find the right page to photograph it on ;) You can find the chocolate ribbon collection here and the book here and the chocolate... well, that's long gone!!

It's Thursday!

And that means new challenge day over at Crafty Ribbons . The challenge set by Rebecca is Clean And Simple with Ribbon . Now, it's not my turn to join in this week but I love CAS so much that I've made something anyway!!  :) This leather bookmark needed something at the top... 3 pieces of metallic edge 3mm later and bam!  CAS with Ribbon :) I hope you'll join us this week
