Easter Bags by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm swinging in to share some fun and easy Easter bags with you. And they happened to be perfect for kids, too! ;)

I started with choosing my patterned bags, in this case I chose the polka dots in purple, turquoise, pink, and yellow. After I used some felt to make some 'peeps/bunnies' and they attached them to my bags. I then added a little sticker sentiment to my bags, along with a few sequins.

So simple, right?!...These easily can be filled with candies, little games/toys, a coloring page and crayons, etc. So many possibilities! I left my empty for now because I don't want my kids seeing anything. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Easter Bunny Gift Bags by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
Today I have for you an idea for cute Easter gifts for kids. You can also make this DIY with your kids to have fun together, it is not complicated at all.

Turn SRM kraft paper bags into the cutest bunny butt ever!

To create the bunny ears you need to cut a deep V shape at the top of the paper bag.
Now fill your bag with Easter chocolates and hot glue the pom pom towards the bottom of the bag to make a bunny tail. Then tie your bag at the base of the ears with bakers twine or jute twine and add a gift tag decorated with SRM Easter stickers.
So cute and easy!

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia.

Share the Love by Jenn

Hi ya friends, Jenn here! I am going to give you a few fun ideas for your childrens Valentines day cards. These are really quick easy ideas you can whip up and they will look super adorable. Everyone loves the handmade touch! These fun Valentines are a sure way to light up little faces...so lets get started!

Card idea #1: This card I stared with a piece of white cardstock cut to 3.5 inches by 5. I then cut two 1inch slits at the bottom so once completed you can weave the sucker stick between the slits. I simply handlettered a few words and used some adorable stickers from the Stickers by the Dozen set.

Card idea #2: Using a fun colored cardstock I hand drew a simple butterfly wing shape and cut it out. Then I added some fun stickers and a little Valentines message. I cut two slits in the center of the wing shape in order to slide my sucker in.

Card idea #3: I cut a 3 inch circle out of cardstock paper and punched holes at the bottom and top to slide the sucker stick through. I added a little Valentine sentiment and a couple cute stickers.

I really love how these turned out and had so much fun making them. My kids loved watching and helping me add the stickers and sliding the suckers into place. This would be such a fun activity to do with your kids. When it comes time to hand out these handmade cards they will be beaming with pride and those sweet ones who receive them will be thrilled! Enjoy your Valentines holiday with those you love. See you next time!

Trio of Valentine Cards by Shanna

Hello SRM friends!!  Shanna here again with some fun new cards using a few of the adorable stickers SRM has available for Valentine's Day!  Perfect to give to a few special somebodies in your life!!
Hope you enjoy!

Here are the 2 sheets I chose to use that helped make all 3 cards!

Supplies Used:
SRM Red jute twine
Candy Apple Distress ink
Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink
Pink Shimmer Spray

...and here they are!!

This is a standard A2 card base in white, double matted and spritzed with shimmery pink color spray, the sentiment was popped up with pop dots on an additional piece of white cardstock.  I love the sparkle the shimmer mist provides as a backdrop! The treat bag was great envelope for gifting this card..I love using non-traditional envies for my cards, I added the doily last minute, it fit perfect!!

This mini card is 2x3 in size, with distress inks smoothed in a watercolor background.  Absolutely one of my favorite techniques and super easy! Adding the age-old sentiment "Be My Valentine" was a no-brainer!!  A few heart sequins added the perfect touch! Loving the lacy linen bag as my envelope...it even has a little room left for some sweet treats!

\
Lastly, a 3x3 card that slid perfectly into this linen dotted bag!  Another dose of ink smooshing worked great to frame up the fun heart in the middle.  The border stickers are a fun way to frame up a small project as well!  The polka dot bag was a great match for an envelope, I can slide in some sweet treats or even a gift card if I wanted to!

Here are all the cards ready to give to a special Valentine!

What type of cards or gifts are you making for YOUR Valentine this year??

Until next time...

Be Merry Tags by Shannon

Are you looking for festive gift tag ideas? Shannon here to share some gift worthy tags with you using SRM!

There are so many ways to create tags, the possibilities really are endless. I created these tags with traditional gift wrap in mind. You can always use tags too...last minute gifts that pop up, tags are great for wrapping around a hostess gift or a teacher gift...or for that oddly shaped gift we always seem to have that is hard to wrap!

I took a picture of each tag for you so you could see that even though some of the designs are the same, they all turn out to be uniquely their own tag. Handmade really is bestmade. ♥

You'll find a bunch of SRM Products tucked here and there on these tags!

Thanks for looking!
Hope I have inspired you to create some tags for your friends and family also!

Merry Christmas by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Well, we all know how fast time keeps going by, right?! ;) With that being said, there's nothing like gearing up for Christmas and starting to make your Christmas cards! (or in my case, 'a' card meaning just one card. lol)

Keeping with my CAS style, I started with adding a little strip of patterned paper to the left side of my card. After, I did some quick and easy die cutting for my fancy holly leaves using gold glitter paper. I then used tiny pieces of foam tape on the back and added it to my card.

Once done, I added my sentiment on a piece of wood patterned paper, along with a strip of white lace underneath it. After I placed it on my card. And to finish things off, I added a few sequins.

So what do you think?!...I'd love to know! :)

Happy Halloween by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!

Can you believe how fast time just keeps going on by?!...Before we know it, it'll be fall and you know what that means...Halloween! Heehee. :)

So, today I'm sharing a fun Halloween treat container.

You can easily fill it with whatever you like! Candies, little spider rings, mini glow sticks, etc. The possibilities are endless! ;)
*Confession: I would have filled my container with some chocolates...though, they have seemed to 'disappear'. lol*

I decided on doing something nice and easy. Especially since things can be a little hectic around this time of year. I started with adding my sentiment stickers to different colored cardstock and patterned paper. Afterwards, I cut them into little banners. (For my big 'Happy Halloween' sticker, I simply stuck it onto one of SRM Stickers large punched pieces.)  After, I assembled everything together and then added it to my container.
Easy peasy, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Planner Stamps :) by Melanie

Hello! Happy September! Melanie here to share one of my week's in September, as well as some cards I made using the Planner Stamps.

For this week in September I used the following planner stamp sets:
Birthday Plans
School Days Planner
Planner Notes to Self

They were perfect for including several different phrases and images that cover things in my life. The Tiny Sport Ball stickers made another appearance this month. They come in so handy since we have sports just about every night of the week :)

The LePen Fine Point Bright set gives me the option to keep track of my kids' events, color-coding for each one.  And to top off the page, I used the border stamp from Planner Notes to Self.

I put the School Days Planner stamp set to work again on this set of First Day of School cards for my elementary kids' teachers. I tucked a gift card into each one as a way to help them get through that first day :)  But they could also be used any time throughout the year to say thank you to teachers.

The clear stamps are great for layering different stamps. I stamped the smiley face list first on white cardstock. Then put the word stamps (word down) on each line. Then I placed my block on top of the words to keep them in those places. That way I could stamp the words on each of the three images in the same places!

I finished off the cards with the LePen Bright set and some Orchid twine. I also added a border around the edges with the Sticker Stitches stamp set.

Enjoy your day!

Design Team Farewell by Susan

Saying goodbye is always difficult for me.  Next week our new design team will begin it's term which is very exiting!  Some of our current team members will be joining the new team, but for those team members who are not, I wanted to salute you for your wonderful projects, your friendships and your talent.  I hope that each of you will return to do guest design spots for SRM.  You are always welcome here!

Today, I'm going to share a favorite project from each of the departing team members.

First up is Juliana Micheals.  What a dear. And what a talent.  I love everything that Juliana makes.  It was hard to choose my favorite but I decided that I love what she does with vinyl so here's my favorite project.  With Halloween not far off, you still have time to create this fun idea.  Juliana uses SRM's black vinyl and Black Striped patterned vinyl on this project.

Next, a big thank you to Tessa Buys who has been working with SRM products since 2011.  What amazing work she does.  She always makes SRM look good.  I love what Tessa has done with SRM products in her planner.  One this page she's used lots of clear sticker sentiments and some Sticker Stitches too.  Beautiful!

And how fortunate we have been to have Lesley Croghan on our team.  Her projects are always perfection.  She loves making gift sets using SRM containers and stickers and since she is a teacher what a perfect idea to have a gift set for back to school.  Thank you Lesley for being such a great team member.  Hope you will come back for a guest designer feature.

And thanks to Amy Crockett for her beautiful work using SRM products,  Her card making is beautiful.  Love this card that has lots of Sticker Stitches, Sticker Sentiments and a little lady bug sticker all from SRM.  Thank you Amy for your wonderful work with SRM.

Next up is Annette Allen who just started her own online business so she left the team a little early.  We miss her so.  Not only is she a wonderful talent but this girl's got energy.  What a positive, kind and loving person she is.  We wish her nothing but the best!  Love this project using SRM Stickers.  She always creates something special.  If you want to make this project, the frame is from Ikea.  And the mini calendars are from SRM!

Although we have to say farewell, I know that it is not goodbye.  I know that we will see all of these ladies from time to time using their SRM products and sharing with us.

Thank you to you all!  I love you and will miss you so!

Come join us on Monday when our new team begins.  It's going to be fun!

Patriotic Layouts Parade

Leading up to the 4th of July I'm sharing with you some patriotic projects from design team members from the past and present.  Today it's all about layouts!

This beauty is from Juliana Michaels from our current team.  Love all the SRM clear stickers that she's used on this lovely layout.

This layout has always been one of my favorites from Becky Williams.
Again, lots of clear patriotic SRM stickers for this page.

And who can forget Jing-Jing Nickels?  What a talent.  So inventive and fun!
Look at all the SRM clear stickers that she squeezed into this layout!

And finally, Cathy Harper from our current team celebrates the 4th of July with Red, White, Blue and Turquoise! How fun! I spy lots of SRM clear stickers on this one too.

As you can see from these layouts, SRM's clear stickers make layouts easy to add titles and subtitles.  Just peel and stick!

Happy 4th of July weekend to all!  Have a great one!

Patriotic Parade Day #1

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.  I live in a town that has a fun run, parade and spectacular fireworks so it's truly an all day celebration.

Today I'm sharing with you some of my all time favorite 4th of July projects from our design team members past and present.  Sit back, relax, enjoy!
And by the way…there's still time to create some of these projects for your celebration! :)

A trio of tubes by Juliana Michaels.
Stickers, Twine and Tubes.  Super cute and easy to create.

Patriotic Magic Wand by Tessa Buys filled with candy and topped with streamers.
Perfect for taking to a parade!

Tube invitation from Jan Tatomir.   Now that's inventive!

A patriotic place setting from Sherry Cartwright who was a guest designer using SRM's glassine bags, stickers and twine!  YUM!

A patriotic party favor from Shelly Kurth.  Kraft pillow box, punched pieces, stickers and twine!  Love this combination!

And for dessert, a fun container from Shantaie Fowler all fancied up with stickers, twine, ribbons and lots of glitter!

There's still time to create these projects.  Just click on the designer's name and you will find more details about how to make it.

Thanks for joining us today and do come back tomorrow when we will have more patriotic inspiration!
