Spring Cards by Angie

Hello SRM friends and fans! Angie here today to share some spring card inspiration. I love using SRM's bags as envelopes and decorating them too!

One of my favorite stamp sets from SRM is the Just Believe set. I used the stamps from that set on both of my cards.  It is a religious themed stamp set but by looking at my cards, you would never know that. That is one reason why I love SRM's stamp sets--they are so versatile.

I also used the XXX stamp from the BIG Love stamp set to give my cards a stitched look. The XXX stamp is one long strip but I cut mine down so I could have just three stamps.

I stamped and fussy cut both butterflies, one of the flowers and the leaf stem. I also stamped one of the other flowers on the pink tag.

To color the butterflies on the thank you card, I used the watercolor pencils. Just simply add your color and then spread it around using a water brush.

I used SRM's awesome labels by the dozen on both cards. Those labels have so many uses. They can be used on cards, scrapbook layouts, tubes or even for labeling stuff in your kitchen!! SRM also has many colors of jute twine. I used light pink jute on both cards.

As you can see, I also used two awesome bags from SRM as cute 'envelopes' for my cards. Have you checked out the selection of bags? Go ahead and have a look. I used the embossed chevron glassine bag and the lime green stripe bag.

I hope you enjoy the ways that I incorporated spring on my everyday type of cards.

Thanks for stopping by the SRM blog!!

Joy Ornaments by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today I'm sharing some simple Christmas ornaments with you! I think these would be great special gift for someone, too! :)

I kept things very simple. I started with die cutting my snowflakes in three different sizes. For the smallest snowflake I used a silver glitter cardstock and the two bigger ones white cardstock. After, assembled them together.

Once done, I added my SRM sticker to the center. In this case, joy. I only added my sticker to one side and left the backside showing on the silver glitter snowflake. After, I punched a hole at the top of my snowflake and added some jute twine. Simple, yeah?!...

Also, giving this special gift to someone, you can easily pop them into a patterned glassine bag! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Birthday Card Set by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here and today I want to share a set of birthday cards I created as a gift for a friend: a card set is a little gift that you can make in minutes for your loved ones!

I made these three cards matching them: they have the same patterned paper or the same die-cut in common, so they really are a set!

I chose a colorful patterned paper and I added on it a journal card with ballons. I used SRM Stickers as sentiment and a little foam glittered heart to add sparkle!

To realize the second card I used the same patterned paper as the first one, a glittered frame chipboard and a die-cut feather. As always SRM Stickers as the perfect stickers to make great sentiments!

For the last card I adhered many white SRM Stickers sticker stitches on pink cardstock to create my own unique background, then I added again the die-cut feather ( i used foam tape to create dimension) and another SRM Stickers for the sentiment. Three sequins make it sparkle!

I put them in an embossed glassine bag to give them away to my friend: I closed the bag with washi tape and added a label on it (I used black pen from Le Pen 4 Piece Set - Primary Colors to write on it).

I hope to have inspired you to make a card set: it is really easy and funny with SRM stickers.
Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia.

Mini Celebrate Card Set by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm sharing a sweet little card set with you.

Aren't those little ice cream cones adorable?!...Yum! :)

Now because these ice cream cones are on the smaller side, I wanted to use more than one on my cards.

I simply thought of a couple different layouts to use with them and then made two cards each with the layouts. Once done, I did some coloring with colored pencils and then added a simple sentiment underneath my cones.

To finish things off, I added all my cards and envelopes in a embossed glassine bag tied off with some jute twine. Easy peasy, right?!...

Enjoy your day!

Oh Happy Day! by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I have a fun Summer themed card and gift bag to share

. Summer is officially here in Arizona. I have enjoyed the warmer weather these last few weeks but this weeks forecast is hot and I mean really HOT. For those of you still experiencing a cooler forecast this week or even snow I hope my little card warms you up.

I started with A2 sized light pink card base and die cut a slightly smaller piece of colorful patterned paper with a pierced rectangle die for my background. I adhered the patterned paper to my pink cardbase and moved on to stamping. I stamped one of the adorable little penguins fonto some watercolored paper that I die cut with a smaller pierced rectangle die and watercolored him with some watercolor pencils.

Once I had my penguin image and background watercolored I let it dry before adding one of the "Oh, Happy Day!" sentiment stickers from the Stickers By The Dozen/Birthday Birdie sticker sheet below my image.

The last few projects I have shared have featured a matching gift bag or box so today I thought I would create one to go along with my card as well. I filled one of the 4.75" x 6.75" Embossed Chevron Glassine Bags with some candy and then folded the top of the bag over and decorated the outside to match my card. I added two little banners to my gift bag with a mini black close pin and added a little "Many Thanks" sentiment sticker to a scalloped circle I die cut out of white cardsotck and watercolred.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Thanks for visiting!

Halloween Treat Bag by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today, I'm sharing a little Halloween treat bag with you!

I was staring at some glassine bags and thought it would be fun to add some texture to it. After a little bit of thinking, I thought using a stencil and embossing paste would be fun! :)

I started with my bags and added my stencil over it and then the embossing paste. Afterwards I let them dry. Once done, I started on my little tags. Which I did some die cutting with and then simply placed a sticker on top.

Once having all my bags and tags done, I filled each bag with a few candies and a few little stickers. To finish things off, I folded the top of my bag and used a mini staple to add my tag. Simple and fun, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see y'all soon!

Crafting with Kids - Boo Banner by Karen

Do you like to craft with your kids? I love to craft with my daughter, but I have to admit - sometimes it's really hard to let her do her own thing without me "directing" her. This month SRM asked me to create a project with kids and let them have fun! And guess what? We both did!

For this "Boo Banner" project I used 5 embossed glassine bags as the banner bases. I added some acrylic paints in yellow and orange for color and texture and let it dry. I let my daughter pick out a font for the letters and cut them out with my die cut machine.

Then I gathered all my Halloween themed stickers from my SRM stash and handed them over to my daughter. Seriously, her eyes got as big as saucers at the sight of those stickers in her hands!

I told my daughter to use the border stickers to decorate the bags and then we would add the letters on top. My idea was to keep everything in nice straight lines, but she had her own ideas. So, with a deep breath, I stepped back and let her create. As you can see, she piled on stickers and borders in all directions and you know what? It's awesome! Each piece is fun, colorful and original - just like her.

We attached the pieces to a long black ribbon with mini clothespins. On each mini clothespin we attached a white card stock circle with a happy little spider sticker. For each end of the banner we gathered several lengths of coordinating ribbon.

Letting your kids into your crafting stash can be scary at times, but it's also a wonderful way to celebrate and teach confidence in their own style and creativity. Plus, you'll both cherish the time you get to spend together and have a great project to show off and talk about!

Graduation Party by Shantaie

Hi, and welcome back to SRM, I'm Shantaie signing in with a gold and glamorous graduation party!

My niece is graduating in a few weeks, she wants her event to be memorable, and unique!  The best part of being a paper crafter is being able to customize premade items, like these cards I picked up at the dollar spot in Target. A few little details and a sheet of SRM thank you stickers I can make a dozen thank you cards for her to send after the party!

Need fast easy cards? just add the Thank you sentiment, and they are ready to go!

No party is a party without a cake or cupcakes! These cupcake toppers are quick because I picked up the pleated circles as part of a banner package, there were 8 for 3.00 and all I did was add a gold banner, and the SRM round sticker by the dozen take 2 graduation stickers and a stick to insert into the cupcake. These literally took 15 minutes total!

Super sweet right?

Invitations are the "headliner" to any party, and as we are doing a casual glamorous party, these simple but elegant cards are perfection! I love the fun 2016 sticker under the gold embossed graduation cap, a quick peel and stick and they are ready to go!

What could be more easy? You are going to love these SRM invitation inserts, all the info you need is ready to fill in. Quick and simple!

I used the chevron embossed glassine treat bags and filled them with chocolates of gold and lavender that match the party. They are folded closed, and topped with a doily and layers of ribbon and paper flags, and sealed with a clothespin. A luxurious gold tassel is adorned with a 2016 sticker tag, and the flag to the left is sporting a sticker sentiment from the graduation stickers by the dozen take 2.

All the elements to get a party started, right here. SRM has stickers, treat containers, and all the happy additions you need to make a party both easy and gorgeous!

It's In The Bag Pink Lemonade Sweets by Shantaie

Hi!  Shantaie here at SRM and today with a trio of sweet lemonade chevron embossed glassine bags for you! Filled with old fashioned lemon drops, these bags are a treat!

I cut layered lemon wedges with my Silhouette in shades that instantly bring to mind glasses of ice cold pink lemonade, and breezy sunny days! A confection of a tag and ticket cluster add a pop to the left corner and is made of the sweetest ingredients. A bakers twine bow ties up a bit of gold sequin trim and a flag showcasing a sticker sentiment from life is good and two rows of pastel borders .

A floral pin, a wood tag, and a little ticket finish it up, and looks so happy on top of that glittery lemon!

I love the way glassine bags give you a little peek into what is inside, this one with a row of pink stitching and another border along the bottom is soft and sweet just like a frothy pink lemonade!

Love Bug Gift Bag by Angi

Hello SRM fans. Angi here to share with you my love for Volkswagon bugs and SRM Stickers. I mixed and matched the two together for a fun party favor idea.

Don't you just love the SRM glassine bags? They are the perfect size for parties and treats. The Embossed Flourish Bags are one of my favorites.  And I love the Sticker Stitches along the bottom in pink.  Perfection!

I had this cute pink "Bug" sticker in my stash. I adhered it to a die cut circle. I then added the word "love" using SRM's Big Faith Clear Stamp Set.

I also love the rustic linen bags! They offer a sweet way to say "thank you" when you pair them with the Take 2: Stickers by the Dozen - Thank you stickers.
