Stamped Fitness Tracker Notebook

Hello!  Karen here today to share a fun idea using SRM Planner Stamps and the new Pray Journal Repeat Stamp set. I love all the shapes on that stamp.  I'm going to use it a lot!

So, like many of you, I find myself in a position where I need to pay more attention to my health and fitness. I am trying to exercise more and I thought if I made a notebook to track my progress I would be more motivated. With the help of some SRM stamps, I'd like to introduce my simple fitness tracker traveler's sized notebook.

v

Cute, hey? I used some scrapbook paper and cards from my stash and embellished them with stamps. The new mini alpha, found on the "Pray Journal Repeat" set helped me label my notebook "health and fitness." To remind me to "just do it" I randomly stamped {DO IT} from the "Notes to Self" Planner stamp set on the cover.

On the inside front cover, I couldn't help but use the "You can do it"~coffee stamp found on the new "Coffee Plans" set and highlighted it with a green stamped circle from the "Pray Journal Repeat" set.

I've kept the inside pretty simple (because I need to make time for exercise, right?). I stamped the doodle square (from "Pray Journal Repeat") 7 times on each page and then labeled each square with the days of the week (from Planner Notes to Self).

Each day I exercise I can stamp a thumbs up (yay me!) from the Everyday Plans set and write in my exercise for the day. I may add a page for my eating habits later, but for now it's one thing at a time!

Traveler's Journal by Tobi

Hi there, it's Tobi here with a DIY planner using a traveller's journal and of course, SRM stamps.

Here are some things that have added up to my current planner situation:

~ I've tried the planner thing... I don't get it, OR I'm not good at it.

~ I've recently gotten into hand lettering and have started to collect journals to practice in.

~ I had a very stressful month and kept a notebook of everything i had to remember and keep track of and it really worked for me.

So, because of these factors, I thought i would continue with the notebook/hand-lettering/journal format, but organize it a little better using various stamps and supplies.

So I've got my day divided into three zones:
1) School (I'm a teacher)
2) After school - which includes clubs and rehearsals/performances
3) dinner (we have meal-plans)

As much as I can, I try to fill in the spots using bounce lettering (the style of calligraphy I am working on) so I can practice as many letter combos as possible.

Here's a mostly blank page so you can see how it looks before I fill it out:

Thanks for stopping by, I hope this was inspiring!

June Planner Pages by Melanie

How is it June already? 2017 is going by so quickly. Good thing I have my planner to keep me on track :). Melanie here today to share some planner fun!

I gathered some SRM supplies together to work on my June pages. I appreciate how easy it is to match the stickers, stamps, and pens. Plus, because I didn't need any tools, this project was great to complete on-the-go while waiting for my son at baseball practice.

It is fun to mix and match the stamps and stickers together for an event. I also used the Le Pens to trace over the stamp lines to give more color to the page. With their fine tip, this works really well. And the fine tip is helpful for coloring in small details on stamped images.

Now that the pages are done, I am ready to head into June . . . well, maybe not quite. :)

May/June Planner Spread by Christine

Anybody else feel like summer requires even more planning than the rest of the year? Christine joining you today to show how I am getting summer ready with my planner and some handy supplies from SRM Stickers!

If you are like me, you love both stickers and stamps for your planner and SRM has you covered all around!

Since it was a week that overlapped both May and June I added some Mini Calendar 2017/Decorative stickers so I could better keep track of my dates. I also pulled out my Notes to Self Planner stamp set and did some stamping in there.

I love the Freestyle/Summer sticker set and try to use each different set each season (yes! There's one for each season!)  My Black Le Pen is seriously one of my all time faves in my supplies.  May it never run out of ink or get lost, I may cry ;)!

You can use this awesome little Wafer Die to cut out these calendars or trim carefully with your scissors.  How are you decorating your planner these days?  Jump on all these fun summer stickers and stamps to make your planning time both fun and creative!

Bible Journaling with Karen

Hello!  Karen here today to share some of my Bible Journaling.  This passage in Proverbs recently stood out to me as I was thanking God for leaders and friends. "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17 As I reflected on this verse, I journaled in my bible using a combination of black pen, stamps, and watercolor pencils.

My first step was to write the key phrase in the margin. I gave it a free handed speech bubble shape and "pinned" on a small tack from the "Planner Notes to Self" Planner Stamps. I added a few more stamps from my favorite Faith stamp set, "Trust in the Lord."

Then I grabbed my ColorIn watercolor pencils and shaded in the speech bubble and added a swatch of bright yellow on top of the crosses beneath it. It's so easy to get the smooth blending of colors with these pencils and a waterbrush. I added a bit of white to help the tack stand out and finish it off.

Thanking God for leaders, friends, and family who have sharpened me.

Planner Stamps :) by Melanie

Hello! Happy September! Melanie here to share one of my week's in September, as well as some cards I made using the Planner Stamps.

For this week in September I used the following planner stamp sets:
Birthday Plans
School Days Planner
Planner Notes to Self

They were perfect for including several different phrases and images that cover things in my life. The Tiny Sport Ball stickers made another appearance this month. They come in so handy since we have sports just about every night of the week :)

The LePen Fine Point Bright set gives me the option to keep track of my kids' events, color-coding for each one.  And to top off the page, I used the border stamp from Planner Notes to Self.

I put the School Days Planner stamp set to work again on this set of First Day of School cards for my elementary kids' teachers. I tucked a gift card into each one as a way to help them get through that first day :)  But they could also be used any time throughout the year to say thank you to teachers.

The clear stamps are great for layering different stamps. I stamped the smiley face list first on white cardstock. Then put the word stamps (word down) on each line. Then I placed my block on top of the words to keep them in those places. That way I could stamp the words on each of the three images in the same places!

I finished off the cards with the LePen Bright set and some Orchid twine. I also added a border around the edges with the Sticker Stitches stamp set.

Enjoy your day!

Planner Spread by Christine

If there was ever a time of year to need a planner, it's right now.  My goodness the schedule is busy! Christine joining you today and here's just one week of my April planner where I incorporated all kinds of fun SRM supplies!

For this week I decided to really play with my SRM Planner Stamps and my Black Le Pen!

I used both the Clear Stamp Planner/Banner and Clear Stamp Planner/Notes to Self to highlight things I needed to do and then added my handwriting around them!  I also added in the fun April from the Months Large/Snappy Sticker Set!

I haven't incorporated very many of my Sticker Stitches in the past so this time I got out my Halloween ones so that I could use some orange and used them as a border.  Love the extra fun that they add!

How's your April Planner coming along?  We'd love to see them over in our Facebook group, Planner Sticker Fun!

Bible Journaling by Christine

Have you had a chance to try out SRM's new stamps for Bible Journaling yet?  I heard this verse multiple times last week and decided to spend some time creating and reflecting on it.  Christine joining you today to share a new Bible Journaling piece.  Everyone has a different approach to the Bible Journaling, some do it right in there Bible and some do it on a separate paper.  Some just journal about the verse, some do just the verse, and some do a combination of both.  You'll find that I like to do it on separate paper and I do a mixture in my approach.  If I know the journaling will be personal but I'd like to share the final piece, I put my journaling on the back!  For today's project I focused on 2 Timothy 1:7.

I like to use Watercolor paper as my base - that way if I decide to use water it is a little less likely to warp.  This time I went for a ton of doodling, stamping, and gelatos.

The first thing I did was stamp "love" using the Big Faith stamps.  And then I wrote out the rest of the verse around it.  I've been dabbling in hand lettering and this time of art is the perfect place to play with it!  The Le Pens are perfect for this type of doodling!

I thought it would be neat to use the heart from Planner/Notes to Self stamp set as the center of some doodled flowers. I colored it in with my pen!

The point of this verse is that sometimes we have to be bold but it should be done in a loving and disciplined way.  The "Shine Your Light" stamp from the Words of Faith Stamp Set perfectly embraced that message and I thought it was a nice addition to the journaling!

We'd love to see what you are creating with these stamps too!  Share them with us on Facebook, Instagram, or our Flick'r Account!

Planner Calendar Ideas by Christine & CHA Winners!

Did you know that SRM has small 6 x 6 calendars that are perfect for year long planners? Christine joining you today to show a couple months out of mine and how I used some of the new products that were just released!

This is not what I use for a detailed planner but it works great for an overview of the big events of the month and is an affordable option.  I used both stamps and stickers on this calendar.  The stickers are a mixture of new and old.  The cute little scissors on March 12th indicate a crop and come from the Planner Icon Sticker set.  I used the Express Yourself/St. Patrick's Day set of stickers throughout - perfect for March!  I also added in some sweet happy faces from the Tiny Stickers/Pastel Assortment.

Stamping is all over this calendar!  I love the versatility of stamps and that you never run out!  I stamped my dates using Clear Stamp/Today Tomorrow Set.   I also added the cute banner using the Clear Stamp/Planner Banner set. And my cross comes from the Clear Stamp/Words of Faith set.

April looks a lot less crazy than March so far for me!  I did both stamping and stickers on this one as well.  I did incorporate some Little Borders/Summer  both into my title and throughout.

I added in the heart from the Clear Stamp/Planner Notes set and then doodled in my own music note.  This month got a lot of stickers from the Calendar Companion set - birthdays and vacations are big in April!

We're looking foward to seeing what you are creating with your new planner supplies - be sure to share them with us on our Facebook Group called Planner Sticker Fun or on Instagram!
