Happy Birthday by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm swinging in to share a fun and simple birthday card with you!

I started with my cupcakes. Which I simply added my cupcake stickers to a piece of white cardstock and then did come cutting with them. Easy, right?!...Next, I added I piece of foam tape on the back of them and then layered them onto my card base.

To finish things off, I added a happy birthday sentiment banner using a sticker sentiment and then making a banner out of my cardstock. Then added some twine and sequins. Fun, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Textile Foil Cards & Video Using Laser Printer and Laminator by Karen

Hello!  Karen joining you today.  I've been having a great time discovering different ways to use the new textile foils from SRM. Today I'm sharing some of my favorites.

To make these cards, I found free online images and imported them into a (Word) document. There I resized them and recolored to make sure they would print out dark and black. I printed each image onto card stock using a laser (toner) printer. It is key that the image prints with toner ink (not an inkjet printer).

I then ran my image with foil covering it through my personal laminator. The heat of the laminator adhered the foil only to the printed image. After a short cooling off, I simply peeled the foil away to leave the shiny image.

I'll walk you through it in this process video. But I have to warn you, though, you may become addicted to this easy and quick foil application technique!

Thanks for watching - I hope you are inspired to use textile foil in your projects!

Make a Wish Birthday Tubes by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm sharing some fun birthday tubes with you!

I wanted to do something fun and somewhat whimsical, so I thought of a garden/flower themed birthday party. :). Perfect for Spring!

I started with my tubes which I simply added some patterned paper around. Easy, right?...After, I worked on making my tags. I used some bright yellow punched pieces and some little flower die cuts.

For my sentiments, I used some stickers and simply added them to cardstock. Once done, I added them to my tubes and used some twine to tie it all together. Simple, yeah?!...

*Note: Since being a garden themed party, I thought the perfect treat to fill these tubes with would be those little chocolate covered sunflower seeds candies. ;) Though, you can easily fill them with anything you like! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Birthday Gifts with SRM Tubes by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here with an idea for a sweet birthday gift: many of my colleagues celebrate birthday in January, so I made them a little something.
SRM mini tubes are my go to when I need a cute package for chocolates and sweets: how cool is that you can see through the tubes and be amazed with all the sweetness inside? It really screams open me, eat me!

I filled SRM mini tubes with chocolates and I decorated them with Stickers By The Dozen/Birthday stickers by wrapping around them different strips.
Then I embellished the tubes with jute twine and other stickers.

I adhered clear stickers on punched pieces and on white cardstock that I cut in a banner shape. In just a few minutes I created a cute gift to brighten my colleague's day and celebrate them!

Until next time,

ciao, Giorgia

Bible Margin Stamps Gift Bags by Karen

SRM's new Bible Margin stamps aren't just for Bible journaling. I used a couple of margin stamps as part of a gift bag decoration - and they double as bookmarks!

I stamped the margins on white cardstock which I had watercolored a pretty background. I used watercolor pencils to add more detail to the images. Mounting it onto a piece of colored cardstock helps it stand out against the fun patterned paper bags, doily, and sticker stitches and sentiments.
By using a decorative clip to attach it to the bag, the recipient can easily remove it to use as a bookmark, too

For this project, I used:

Happy Birthday Card by Melanie

Hello!  Melanie joining you for a fun birthday card idea.
Glad to have you stop by today! This is a big month of birthdays in our family. Between my family and my husband's family, we have 9 birthdays in 12 days! So in honor of all the birthday celebrations, I am sharing a birthday card with you.

It is no secret that one of my favorite characteristics of SRM stickers is their seamless look on paper. I love how they can be added anywhere and cut to fit perfectly, if needed.

I added a piece of gold shimmer twine to the tag as well. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from We've Got Your Sticker/Happy Birthday.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful day! Go out and celebrate :)

Birthday Card Set by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here and today I want to share a set of birthday cards I created as a gift for a friend: a card set is a little gift that you can make in minutes for your loved ones!

I made these three cards matching them: they have the same patterned paper or the same die-cut in common, so they really are a set!

I chose a colorful patterned paper and I added on it a journal card with ballons. I used SRM Stickers as sentiment and a little foam glittered heart to add sparkle!

To realize the second card I used the same patterned paper as the first one, a glittered frame chipboard and a die-cut feather. As always SRM Stickers as the perfect stickers to make great sentiments!

For the last card I adhered many white SRM Stickers sticker stitches on pink cardstock to create my own unique background, then I added again the die-cut feather ( i used foam tape to create dimension) and another SRM Stickers for the sentiment. Three sequins make it sparkle!

I put them in an embossed glassine bag to give them away to my friend: I closed the bag with washi tape and added a label on it (I used black pen from Le Pen 4 Piece Set - Primary Colors to write on it).

I hope to have inspired you to make a card set: it is really easy and funny with SRM stickers.
Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia.

Over the Rainbow Party by Jenn

Hi friends, Jenn here! My oldest daughter is about to turn 7 and has asked for a bright colorful rainbow unicorn party, so today I will be sharing some fun ideas that are sure to put a great big smile on your face!

Yesterday I shared my planner pages that had lots of details about my daughter's birthday.  Today I am sharing lots of things that I created for the party.  Ready for inspiration?  Let's go!

First up lets talk about the invitations... I used a plain white cardstock and stamped the star bunting and celebrate from the birthday planner stamps in clear embossing ink then embossed with white. I noticed I had the exact number of colors in the rainbow as stars so I used the color in Le Plume markers and colored them onto a a clear acrylic stamp block and used them like watercolor with my water brush. At the bottom I added the same colors over the embossed celebrate words to make the words pop off the page and also bring more color to the invite.

I really wanted to create treat bags or favor bags for the party....I used the glassine bags and filled them with colorful skittles and tied a little bakers twine around them with a yellow scalloped circle with the words Rainbow seeds. That was it...super simple, cute and will be fun to display.

I hope I have sparked a little creativity and inspiration in you all. I love seeing what you create with the beautiful SRM sticker products so please share using #srmstickers on instagram and Facebook....looking forward to seeing what you all create!

Rainbow Birthday Week by Jenn

Hello friends, Jenn here! I am very eager to show you a very special week in my planner this month, my daughter's 7th birthday.  Bring on the confetti, cake, rainbows and sunshine and lets jump on into this super bright cheerful spread.

I began by pulling out my planner stamps, rainbow washi, birthday stickers, and a little fun rainbow scrapbook paper cut to the boxes of my erin condren planner (1.5"x2"). I really like having a weekend banner in my planner spreads, so I chose this adorable star garland from 'Birthday Plans'. To color in the stars I used my le plume II markers colored onto an acrylic block picking up the color with my waterin blending brush. I used this same technique to color in the coffee cup on my Friday. One more quick technique ...if you love the look of patterns and no whitespace planning try using small stamps to create patterns. Washi tape is my secret to clean lines and perfect looking boxes...just be very very careful when removing and repositioning the tape it is very easy to pull the top layer off the paper.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration and perhaps a new technique or two to try. Be blessed sweet friends as you plan your beautiful life...each day is a gift spend and share it wisely.

Sticker Stash Layout Tutorial by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here with a technique to create a unique background for layouts.  One of my favorite SRM Stickers products are stickers, I use them all the time, and for this layout I used tons of them to create a funny background.

I started by pulling out all my stickers stash and choosing the ones that could be useful for my project: a lot of borders, stitches, birthday themed stickers - since I was scrapping my birthday's picture - and also some stickers with a different themes because in all the stickers sheet you can find borders, drawings and words that can be used for several purposes... just think outside the box and let your creativity spread!

To create the background I adhered borders and stitched stickers on the centre of a white textured cardstock: I alternated colors and motifs, and I created a stickers line from top to bottom.

I adhered the pictures on patterned paper and I added other stickers as embellishments: I adhered some of them on white cardstock and then fussy cut them, to make them pop from the background. For another one I used a small white punched piece.  Use foam tape to adhere it to give an extra pop!

To handwrote the journal with black pen from Le Pen 4 Piece Set - Dark Colors on a birthday theme label. These pens are great to add journaling also on these smooth surfaced stickers: the ink perfectly dries, it doesn't fade away and it doesn't make a mess (I am always worried to make a mess when I handwrite my journal, since I am a leftie and with many pens I have problems, but not with these!)

I used a sticker as title and I added enamel dots to give an extra pop of colors.

Some close up of the finished layout:

I hope you liked this technique, I hope you will give it a try.  I would love to see your projects!

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia
