Stamped Stitches Background Stamp by Juliana

Hello everyone! It's Juliana here with you to share a card I created using the SRM Stickers Stamped Stitches stamp set.  It is a great set, that is perfect for creating stitched borders on cards, scrapbook pages and more. However, I thought it would be fun to share with you a different way to use this stamp set.

Instead of using each stamp individually, I placed each of the stamps on to a large acrylic stamping block and created my own background stamp. I stamped the image using Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and then heat set it using a heat gun.

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to create the rainbow of colors. I wanted to keep the colors bright, so I only added a very small amount of water to help blend the individual colors.

To further embellish the card, I added several die cut stars and some wood veneer stars. The final touch was a stamped sentiment. I used the "Hello" from the Coffee Time stamps set using Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it.

I hope you enjoyed learning a fun new way to use the SRM Stickers Stamped Stitches stamp set. Thanks for stopping by today!

Thank You A Latte by Shannon

There's this hashtag...#handmadeisbestmade
I believe this.

I also believe in simple kindness like thank you notes.
 ❤
I created a set of thank you notes to share with you in this post. This set of cards features just a few of the products you can find at SRM!

There's something to be said about a handmade card for someone. Kindness matters. ❤

Here's each card in no particular order.

Stickers and stamps are a great combo. ❤

Little Borders can add a perfect detail to your cards.

I like to use Little Borders as "washi tape" and Sticker Stitches abundantly! ❤

Thank you for letting me share with you today, as always your support means so much!

Coffee Times Three by Lesley

Hello crafty friends! Lesley here! I love coffee themed stamps and in our SRM store, we carry Jane's Doodle stamps!!! Jane has an adorable coffee set called Coffee Time that is so versatile and easy to use!

I have made a few different cards with this set. Sometimes I need some thank you cards on hand that I can use in my classroom. So this design made for a quick and easy card!

I am also into watercolouring and I wanted to create a watercoloured card using the coffee set. I decided to use the sentiment "You Warm My Heart" and I decided to do a loose watercolour.

The "warm" part made me think of melting hearts!

And finally I created a little "Lovey" themed coffee card! Simple and easy to make but very special for that certain someone in your life!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope this inspired you to make a few simple but sweet cards for your stash!

Then I added some twine...to the front, to add a cute detail.

Cute & simple!  Now I have a gift set of cards for a friend!

You're the IRISH Cream…little borders card by Shantaie

Sláinte! I do love a good cup of coffee, and a little word play too! With St.Patricks day on its way I thought it would be fun to add a little Irish twist to the Coffee Time stamp set by coloring a trio of cups in green and orange and adding an Express Yourself St. Patricks Day sticker to alter the sentiment just a bit.

I used several rows of the Little borders as a foundation for my cups o' coffee and they are so cute, like little colorful stacks of happiness! I love it when I realize that there are tons of ways to use a product, it makes me feel like I have this mighty little hidden multi-tasker waiting to spring into action! These Little Borders sure do have big potential! :)

Shaker Box Card by Juliana

Hi everyone! It's Juliana here with you and today I'm sharing a shaker card I made using the adorable Jane's Doodles Coffee Time stamp set. I might be a little partial to this stamp set, since I kind of love coffee, but this has to be one of my favorite stamp sets yet!

I stamped each of the images onto watercolor paper and colored them in using a variety of Distress Inks. I then fussy cut each image and layered them on the card front.

To create the shaker aspect, I used Fun Foam, double sided adhesive and some circle dies.  I always find filling the shaker to be the most fun! I used the gold heart sequins to help focus on the sentiment "You warm my heart".  Aren't those gold heart sequins fabulous?

So what kind of fun cards do you like to create? Have you ever tried your hand at a shaker card? If not, I highly recommend giving it a try. They are super fun to make and even more fun to give!

Thanks a Latte by Lesley

I don't know about you but I love cute little stamps and designer paper with diagonals! I am in love with Jane's Doodles new Coffee Themed Stamp Set called Coffee Time! Oh boy is it fun to colour! So I stamped the little cup and masked it to create a "latte" focal point and coloured the cups with my Copic markers.

The sentiments in the set are just perfect for a thank you gift and this one is going to a wonderful colleague of mine! I added some pencils to the gift and some other small goodies will fit in the medium sized kraft bags. I stamped the sentiment right onto the kraft bag with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added some charcoal twine to the bottom of my card!

I hope you feel inspired to create a little gift set for a coworker or a friend. February is a month of love and kindness! Spread a little joy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge - Update

How lucky we are to have Kathy Racoosin back with us on the Blog today for a follow up to her post last week.

I asked Kathy what the Color Challenge was all about and she said that
the challenge is about coloring something every day even if it's just 5 minutes.  Even if you don't finish… it's all about coloring every day.

So here's some coloring from Kathy.  She started to color last week but did not complete it.  I love how she combined 2 of Jane's Doodles stamps:  Daisies and Coffee Time.

And here is Kathy's finished coloring.  Don't you just love the richness of her work?  What a talent!

Thanks a latte Kathy for giving us an explanation of what it means to take the coloring challenge.  I know that you have inspired our readers.

Here's to doing a little coloring every day!

Watercolored Coffee Cups Card by Juliana

Hi everyone! Juliana here with you today to share a card I created using the new Jane's Doodles Coffee Time stamp set. I love my coffee and so I immediately fell in love with these stamps! I love the variety of mugs and cups, along with the cute coffee sentiments, that make up this set!

To create my card, I randomly stamped the coffee cup onto a piece of watercolor paper with Versamark Watermark Ink Pad. Next, I sprinkled the images with white embossing powder and then heat set them with a heat gun.  To color in the coffee cups, I used a variety of Ranger Distress Inks and treated them like watercolors. I stamped them onto a craft mat and added a little water before coloring in the coffee cups with a small tipped paint brush.  The thing I love about embossing stamped images is how it helps hold the watercolor in place so you don't have to worry about it spreading outside of the design.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of cardstock and then cut it into a little flag shape. The final touch was the addition of a little wood veneer heart and a piece of twine.  Now it's your turn to start stamping and watercoloring. We look forward to seeing what create and share with us!
