Happy Birthday Seth...Happy Fathers Day TOO!!

We got to celebrate two very special days for someone we love so much!!! It was great day all because of a few special things...

First..

We found these Hungry Guys on the street and decided to let them be part of the celibration..lol..we love these missionaries and it is tons of fun being able to feed them and work with them...

Second...

So here is a question for you....what do you do when you can't find the candles that you bought and it is Sunday??....get creative....toothpicks work too...yes Seth is turning 5 this year...Yea seth....lol....pregnancy it will do it to you...your brain will go and your hair turns gray...but the toothpicks do work!! :D

For his birthday dinner we had a great Mexican dish that I make rather regularly at our house...and a Pastel de Tres Leches cake...Yum!!

It is Official....because of grandpa Seth now officially owns every season of Hogan's Heroes...if you have never seen Hogan's Heroes you will have to watch a few episodes...they are great....our families personal fav. In fact Seth is rather proud that his daughter knows all of the characters by name...and on occasion quotes them and or walks like them...it is great!! Thanks grandpa for loads of fun entertainment!!

One Quilt down...

I love this quilt it turned out really cute!! It is super soft and I love the little puppys on it. What is the best is this little man cub will feel loved because he will have something that was made by his mom, dad and sister....yes I said dad. Seth is so great...in our house we get to "Build Quilts" not quilt them together as Seth would say. It is great...you have tons of time to talk while you are quilting/building together!!

Time to Celibrate!!!

Seth lately has been super busy with work and all that is needed of him there and with his calling, so studying for the CPA exam was a bit of a challenge...but it is so amazing to me how much our Heavenly Father loves us. Even though he was not able to study as much as he would have liked, he did do a lot of really great things for other people in the ward where he was...about his fathers work...and well he got back his results............................................................................................................................................................................................

oh how I love this amazing man that I am married to who always puts what is most important first!! I love watching how our Heavenly Father Works and what amazing blessings he gives when you do those things he asks of you!!

Yes it is the measuring game....I figured this is the one time that it really does not matter if others know how big you are....I was actually curious because this little man is not so little.. :D

Thanks to everyone who came it was such a fun shower and thanks for the gifts...Seth is super thankful because little man cub wont be dressed in pink...lol...we can't wait for this little man cub to make his daybue!!

Ok I am a little slow getting these photos up on here but here they are...two Saturday's ago there were a bunch of elders that got together and fixed a roof and man what a project...

There were Six...yes not joking...or exagerating...SIX...layers of shingles...it was crazy to watch all of the shingles that came off that roof.

Marisa and I were the cheering section and we had a great time chatting with the sister there. So many of you may think this is pathetic...yes we were not super helpful but this was the Saturday before our cute daddy was leaving to be gone to Kansas...so we went just so we could see him for a min. We might be a little hooked!!

Fun last week

Licence to Eat!!

So I have always been one that wished she had the metabolism of her husband....Beware!! You May Get What You Ask For!!!....we went to the doctor last week and well I was not at my best. I got the whole fuzzy head feeling like passing out, cold sweat, shaking...etc. It was awesome. They took all of the important vitals and my personal fav took some blood to be tested. Well this week we went in and got the results...

Blood Sugar 32

The doctor said it was a miracle that I was not passed out! Me being my naive self did not think much of the whole experience but as we were walking out of the doctors office Seth said to me "my mom would kill you if she knew what your level was...did you know you start going into a coma if your blood sugar is like at a 25"

So needless to say cereal will not last until 11:00 anymore. Wow was that fun.

These cartoons totally made me laugh. Ok so the first one is totally what I feel like as of late. Mobility is so not happening and this little man loves to hang out there. The last one is just a bit of tax humor. So I have decided that I will take some photos...yes I am breaking my cardnal rule that no one can come within fifty feet of me with a camera and take any kind of photos but there are a few grandmas that are very curious of what this pregnancy looks like because the last one I changed quite dramatically. Although this will not be posted for some time. The hubby will take photos and they will be posted some time...lol. Got to love pregnancy....well at least the great results!! Beautiful kiddos!!

Shoe box....potty...I didn't mean to???

We had a really funny adventure the other day. Marisa was taking a nap and then all of a sudden there was this freaky scary movie scream....so like all parents that think there kid was dieing Seth ran upstairs (running is not part of the vocabulary in my current state) and low and behold there is Marisa with this dazed and confused, utterly mortified look on her face....completely stripped down and squatting on her shoe box. All she could say while she was crying is I did not mean too....I did not mean too. The part that I saw was Seth coming down the stairs hysterical with laughter...unable to contain himself. :D It was so great. So it is official we have the sleep walking...pee...disease!! Watch out it could be visiting your home next!!....lol

Got some great news.....

I am so excited for my brother....we were totally bummed that they were going to be moving to Wisconsin and way to far away...but then the letter came. He got accepted into medical school at the U of U. Congrats Bro you totally deserve it!!! No out of state tuition, closer to family, and we will actually get to visit you more then once every other year!! Yea!!

FHE at the Temple

Ok so you will have to pardon the photos my camera's battery was totally dead...which of course I realized after we were already there. Last night we had Family Home Evening at the Temple it was so awesome.(I know we are not traditional Monday night'ers) Since Seth and I have been going more we wanted to explain more about the temple to Marisa and also show her where we go on Saturday early in the morning. We had a little picnic on the grassy part right outside of the temple grounds and then we went onto the temple grounds for our lesson. It was so much fun. In preparing for this lesson I found a great idea that someone had which was to take a photo of them every time that you take them to the temple and try to go to the temple with them for sure once a year....then when they get married you can show the sequence of photos as they got older. It was such a beautiful evening and probably one of my favorite family home evenings...try it you will like it!!! (the tulips were so beautiful!!)

I heard this song today for the first time and it reminds me so much of the love my cute husband shows me and of our adventure from the moment we met. Most the time there are only one or two things that are the same or that you can realate to, but this one hits all points on the nose. We met on a date that we were on with different people. About three weeks later we had our first date and kiss. For valentines day he got down on one knee to sing to me and a week after that again to ask me to marry him. And now we totally have a baby on the way and my hair is sad to say going gray!!! or white!! or both!! Love this song!!

I have had a lot on my mind too because of all of the really hard trials that a lot of people in the ward are having and what strength there is in those trials. I remember how some of our really hard trials have brought seth and I so much closer and how much more I love him every day.

What is really funny is just the other night I was reading my journal and all of the things that we have been through and all of the fun adventures/trials and it is amazing because I did think that I loved him then but it is amazing how that has grown so much!! I love love love this song!!
