August 19th, 2015 was the first day of school! This year I am going to have all 4 kiddos in school!!!
How is it even possible that we have a middle school student already!?! How did we go from trucks and cartoons to locker combinations, 8 different classes in a day, and running cross country! As parents we feel blessed by the genuine goodness of this boy. Ethan is quite spectacular and will do great things. I don't know how we got so lucky with him but I am sure glad that we did!
Ethan had a great first week. He got a handle on opening his locker decorated with awesome Bronco stickers, got to all 8 classes on time, had to change out for gym, and started cross country practices.
Ciara is the sweetest thing ever, and is beyond excited to start school again! I admire her love and excitement about everything, and am sure going to miss her helpfulness during the day. She always does what she is asked the minute I ask it. Others are also drawn to her and love her! I love seeing her grow, mature, and develop the talents that make her so special!
Ciara had a great week and seems to like her teacher Ms Dee. Ciara loves school and is such a good student that tries so hard.
I am going to miss these big helpers at home during the day.I am a mom that LOVES her kiddos to be home with her!
Picture overload of my sweet Bella! My little princess and best friend has started kindergarten!! This is so bittersweet for me! I was blessed to develop a special bond with this little thing. From the moment that she was born we were inseparable, every hour all night long for many months inseparable! But I have never known a brand new 5 year old as mature and ready for life as Bella is! I have no doubt that from here on out she will do great things! I have always called her my little firecracker because she is going to be amazing to watch grow up!
Bella was super ready and excited to be going to school with the big kids. WE took Bella to lunch before we dropped her off at afternoon preschool.
Bella's cute teacher, Ms Curtis.
Bella wasn't even nervous to be going to school and had the best day ever when I picked her up.
Being the 4th kiddo is always hard! Poor Jonathan just has to watch everything the big kids are doing.
And if today wasn't hard enough Jonathan is completely ready to go to school by himself like the big kids. With PURE excitement he combed his own hair while I did Bella's, got his own snack in his backpack, and wore his new preschool shoes all afternoon. As soon as we got to the school to drop Bella off he wanted to go in. As soon as Bella's teacher opened the door Jonathan walked up to me and handed me his pass, yes he still has a pass sometimes for my own sanity, and began walking into the school like he knew where he was going. You should have heard the tantrum thrown as he realized he wasn't going. Seth had to take him to the van and missed Bella walking into school. He sobbed brokenhearted all the way home. We will see how he feels when he actually starts preschool in another week or so!
