Marisa First Day of 2nd Grade

I can't believe that my girly is now offically a 2nd grader!!!  What a big girl she is.  She was so excited to get ready for school today.  She loves school so much and loves to socialize.  She is our little social butterfly.   She loves this outfit too because she got to choose it herself and pay for some of it with her own money.

skyler had to get in on the action too!!  :D

This is her in her class room she has Mrs. Cox this year!!  She also thinks it is pretty cool to have her grandma at the school with her now.

Family Reunion Fun

It was so fun we got to go to the Guymon family reunion!!!  It was such a blast for all of us.  It was our first real big outing with Mersadie Fe.  We did fun things like ride horses, skip rocks and water fights. 

Skyler at first did not want to get on the horse....after we finally got him on one he did not want to come off.  In fact he cried when we took him off and tells me constantly how he needs a horse.

We got to be with tons of family!!!  It was way fun!!

Marisa loved being on a horse.  Even after just a little bit they let her steer the horse all by herself.  She loved that!!  She even started to take the horse just a little faster.   She also has informed me many times that she needs a horse.  It has become a need...lol.

Me and my buddy.  This is usually where he likes to be.  It is really cute too because if he has not seen me in a while he will come and find me just to see where I am!!

Sky had to throw rocks then after a while decided he needed to make a bridge...I love watching his little brain a work.

They had a bit of a water fight!!!  Marisa kept on egging him on and skyler was hiding behind my legs.  So funny how different those two are.

It was for sure one super fun family reunion!!!!

Mersadie One Month......Letter to Her





Dear Mersadie Fe,

     Beautiful girl you have grown so much in the last month.  It is so fun to see your little personality bloom.  You love to be held and loved and have your little moments.  You love your family and especially your mommy and daddy.  When your daddy talks to you your big blue eyes become even bigger and you always turn towards him.  You are always so patient even when you are hungry or your mommy is talking to you when you are grumpy.  You are such an answer to our prayers and a blessing in our lives.  We sure do love you and are so thankful for every little happy face, smile and even when you cry.  You have been sleeping through the night, which has been a blessing to your mommy and daddy because they get a little more sleep at night.  You are a very mellow eater and you go at your own pace of life.  Every now and then you get really mad and your face gets really red.  You have so great singing lungs for a little one your size and we love every sound.  You are so cute because you like to be around people but every now and then your need your own moment to be alone.   I sure do love you baby girl and are so glad that you are a part of our little family.  You are so beautiful and I know you were sent from heaven just for us!!!

Peaceful look

I love her little cry.  It is lower then Risa's cry but higher then Skyler's but has alot more force to it!  It was funny because I was at young women's and she was crying and I said oh you are so cute...one of my girls said "don't encourage that" and I said "but isn't it so cute"  she said "no"  It made me laugh so hard.  I love every little cry!!!!

I can't even explain how happy we are to have this beautiful little one in our lives.  Mersadie spelt differently in Latin means Mercy and Fe in Spanish means faith.  It really is through the Mercy and faith in our savior that we have this beautiful little miracle in our lives!!!  We love you pretty girl!!!

Start the harvest

So this is what we pulled out of the gardent the other day.  It was so impressive.  Now I just need to get it all cooked into something...lol  :D

Seth Passed his last test of the CPA Exam....Yep it happened.  Now he just has to finish the application and it will be official.   Many late nights with flash cards and reading.  We are so proud of our daddy and so thankful for the help from all of the prayers of others.  Because daddy passed his test we decided that we needed to celebrate.  What better way to celebrate then going to the Carbon county fair and Rodeo.

The kids had fun playing on the bouncy toys one of the favorites in the bull.  Marisa stayed on really well it was a bit harder to get her off the bull.  As for Skyler the first time he fell right off.

We had to go to the rodeo and my kiddos wanted something fun to eat....it was so fun because they had panda express here for the fair so they got to have one of their favorite meals.

and what is a rodeo without Cotton candy!! 

In the morning they had a kids rodeo and Skyler and Marisa did mutton busting.  Marisa's ride was really impressive. She rode it all the way across the arena until the sheep tripped and threw her off where she did a scorpion and had mud all over her face.
