Happy Valentines Day

Valentines Day always brings the kids favorite the valentine box!!!  Which I think is so fun but sometimes life is a little too crazy and this was one of those years....Marisa came up with this idea all by herself and she made the majority of it.  It was a heart shaped box and she was so excited when she found out she won an award again this year.  Yep my girly is a bit competitive.  But here she is with the box that she made.

 I was able to get a few valentines day photos the girls were wearing valentines day shirts and skyler wanted to wear a red shirt for valentines day.  They are quite the cute little pair!!!

 We tried a few valentines day heart hair doo's  Yep we made hearts on the top of their heads.  They got a little messed up during the day but you can still kind of see the hearts

Yep we did it on mersadie's hair too!!! 

Headed to the Capital

Seth had to go to the capital building and they were going to pay for a hotel for him so Mersadie, Skyler and I decided to have a party with daddy up north.  What is really fun is that when we go to Salt Lake we get to hang out with some of our favorite people.  And sometimes we get to go to one of our favorite places to eat up there with them.  Texas Roadhouse!!!!  The cousins got to play during the day and then we got to go with  daddy and do something fun in the night.  

 This is the same booth that we have always sat in too.  It is funny but we have gone two different times but they have put us in the same booth

 Skyler was not so sure about his first hotel stay.  He was so confused when we did not stay with Caid at his house and we were not going to stay at our house.  But once we told him that we could watch cartoons and that he could stay up late he decided that it was pretty cool to stay at a hotel.

 It was really weird to go and take seth to the capital building to pick him up there.  It is funny how life takes you on different paths ones that you never thought were going to happen.  Heavenly Father really knows what he is doing.

 Seth and I got to go to the temple too and it was a pretty snowy day.  I love this photo.   I think I may use it some time for an object lesson but sometimes it is hard to focus on the things that matter most because of our  surrounding.   The closer and the more you starting focusing on the things that are important the more things come into view.  It was such a great day at the temple!!!
