Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines day all!!!  I know we are a little late but better late then never.  Per usual Marisa had a box decorating contest at the school and lets just say our little one is a bit competitive.  (I don't know where she gets it from because her parents are not competitive at all)  She came up with many very fun and exciting ideas some of which were: Belle's Castle, Belle's Cottage, the genie in the Lamp from Aladdin and there were many more.  But lets just say mommy was not feeling that ambitious to try and help her with any of those.  I know come on Mom!!  lol  But this is what we came up with  :D

Skyler kept on saying Yummy until he realized that the frosting was way too full of salt....thank you Toni for the salt dough recipe

Marisa wanted 7 candles because her big birthday number 7 is coming up.

Skyler had to make one for play group and as much as mommy said that we should just do it with paper he wanted his to be just like Risa's  This is what Skyler finished up with...he had a blast making it though!!

Ok it might just be me but this little man is not looking so little to me anymore.  He is so grown up.  This is my little day Buddy!!!

We also had a sad thing happen on Valentines day we had our first missionary transfer.  Elder Johnson got transferred.  The kiddos had alot of fun giving the missionaries there valentines though.  It has been a really awesome blessing to have them in our house and help our kiddos learn and grow and gain a testimony of missionary work.  Super fun to have a missionary at our house who really wanted to work and keep the mission rules!!

Oh and other not so happy news we got a phone call from the doctor and he said that the fluid around the baby in the ultrasound was low and so there is a bit of concern about that.  So anyone who would love to send some prayers our way we would love it!!!  We are going to get another ultrasound in a month...hopefully it will be better.  I had a bit of a rough morning after hearing that but it was so super sweet my little buddy got a candy bracelet from his valentines from his play group and I put it on him.  He then said "can you take it off please"  so I took it off and he put it on me.  So I asked him "Is this for me?"  (I asked kind of jokingly expecting him to say no and take it off)  But he said "For mommy"  and he gave me a hug.  This little man with all of his crazy times is so amazingly gentle and kind to me in the moments that I need it the very most.  Thank heavens for the little ones that are here!!!

Name that Tune....

So this little man has been full if it lately.  He will be incredibly hyper and not hear a word that you say or will be attacking his sister.  Most of the time he bounces from those two things but every now and then he catches us by surprise.  After church on Sunday we were in the kitchen and he had a yard stick that he was pretending was his dragon.  He would lay it on the floor and then lay on top of it and then the dragon and him would get up and race all around the room.  Amidst all of the Dragon Tales he started to Chant :  "The Holy Ghost helps me do whats Right"  "The Holy Ghost helps me do what's Right"  Every now and then the dragon would go Rarrrrr and then back to the song.  Not sure if it is a break off of another song but it really made my heart happy that this little man knows that little song and little truth!!

Fun family weekend and Primary Activity

This last wekend was pretty fun we got to spend time with family and see the blessing of two super cute babies into the family

Taft was blessed on Saturday and Piper on sunday it was so cute to see those two little ones in white!! 

During the week the kiddos went to a primary activity that they had at the church that was done by the Behives.  What an amazing idea.  Super fun service.  But they had all kinds of games dart shooting, fishing,

Weekend Getaway!!

Every now and then we get a little lucky...and well we won concert tickets to the Brad Paisly Concert.  It was so much fun to be there with my cute hubby.  It was one awesome night of country frenzies.  We went out to eat before and it was just a really amazing concert.

The next morning our plans were to make it to the temple really early....but the concert got over around 12 and this little pregnant lady was really pooped.  So we got up a little later and we hit a Guatemalan restaurant there in salt lake which was Amazingly delish!!  It really brought me back to my mission.  I got to have a Guatemalan tamale which I have not had forever.  Then later we headed to the Provo temple and were able to finish our little mission that we had started of doing family history work then doing all of the work for those names.......and WE DID IT!!!  It was such a great day at the temple and we learned so so much from the sealer that was there.  So much about the atonement and having a happy and healthy marriage.  It was the best Weekend EVER!!!
