Family photos

We took new family photos but some of them are a little blurry but they ended up pretty good. I had one of the members of the family below take our photos. I did a little editing on them. We were definantly a little cold. Yes that is snow on the ground and the pond behind us was part of the way frozen and really cold. Mugzzy understood that because right before this photo he fell into the water. He was really cold after that!!!! After this photo we all had really cold bums.

My first family photo experience

I am sure you are wondering why I have a few photos of another family...well I had another first for the record book. I had my first famiy photo session. On of my favorite families in the branch asked me to take their family photos. This was also a little bit of a problem with the whole camera issue. But a certian jerry gave me a hand with the problem of not having a camera and let me barrow hers. So now I need some feedback. What did you like? What did you not like about their photos? Because I really want to get better. It was so much fun. I love taking photos. Especially about people you love. Although I will say that I was a little scared. The new is always a little scary though. But is like my mom always says you never know what you will like till you try it so try everything......and I loved it. I just have to work on the camera now!!!

It seems as though we are going to have a Merry Christmas. Things are going well with the house we will be closing on it the 10 of December so hopefully I can barrow a camera and take some photos. Regretfully I have to say that our camera died so we won't have photos for a while. I might have to get some from other family members. But all is going well. We have our christmas tree and this year it is our potty tree. We went to walmart and she saw the christmas tree there and she kept on telling her daddy that she wanted a chrismas tree so we made a potty card for her that was in the shape of a chrismas tree and told her that for every time that she went potty she got a bulb or punched out hole for her christmas tree. After 10 punches we put up the tree and now she gets to put on an ornament for each time. So it is officially our potty tree. A parent sometimes has to be really creative. Got to love potty training!!!!

House Update

We just found out that they accepted the Hud appraisal and that everything so far is going great. The reason why the acceptance of the Hud appraisal is so great is because one we don't have to pay another appraisal and two another appraiser can't say that it is uninhabitable because their is no carpet in the frount room. Yea hu!! We will let you all know what happens. Wish us luck!!

I was recently tagged and asked to tell the 10 things that you probably don't know about me.... so here goes

1. I have never gone skiing....yes me the girl that has pretty much played every sport known to man and the girl who is moving to Denver has never hit the slopes.

2. I am hooked on cowboy movies. I just don't know what I am going to do...Big Valley, Wild Wild West (The old TV Series). My husband got me on this kick. It is so much fun.

3. I hated the sound of music......that is until recently. I don't know why now. I watched it in high school and ever since that time I had not seen the movie until last week. I now like it. Go figure.

4. I love really clean sinks. That may sound funny but I do, if the sinks are shinny then it is defiantly a good day!!!

5. Reading books....Sorry mom but I never really have enjoyed it. They put me to sleep. I really don't know why. Not that I mind reading I just ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. All except for the scriptures. I don't get it. What is funny is Seth is the exact opposite. Scriptures..ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Other book besides text...Up all night..and the next night..you get the point.
Although I love reading books with him. I get to snuggle and we read. It is great. Yes I have fallen asleep and I have to catch up or he reads the part that I missed. He is great.

6. I love being creative. If the creative juices are not flowing then.........

7. I have always had the dream of working for Disney. They called me once to come and work for them but I was in the grand canyon. What do you do?

8. That brings me to my next one. I have hiked the whole Grand Canyon and I love the Tetons and miss the marina and the lake there. The outdoors are my true haven. I have not done a whole lot lately because of different things but Denver is calling my name.

9. I love shopping for bargains. It is a passion of mine. I think that I inherited that from my dad. He is much better at that but I love doing it.

10. I want to some day make either wedding invitations, take wedding photos, make videos (which I already do), and/ or decorate cakes. I think that would be a blast.

The prettiest Belle at the ball

This was the only photo I got of marisa on halloween because we did not get one before we went out and she fell asleep on the way home. She was pretty scared of her Uncle and Aunt. It was lots of fun we went to a trunk or treat and then went to see Grandmas Aunts and Uncles.

Mugzzys hair cut

We let mugzzy get really scruffy so he could be beast and I finally gave him a hair cut here are the before and after photos!! Hopefully you can see the difference.

Family Home Evening Halloween Fun

For family home evening we had a halloween party. We had a lot of fun. It was nice to not have to be worried about everyting (House, Closing Money, School, etc. They are great worries) and just do something fun.

Youth Etiquette Dinner

Marisa is showing her dancing style at the etiquette dinner that we had with the youth. She had a blast wearing her bell dress (as always). It was so much fun.

This is a photo of our girl and our boys. That is always what me and seth call them. It has been so much fun helping them with everything.

We got the home

We are so excited this week we got the home that we wanted. Now it is just a whole lot of paperwork. You have to love that, but hopefully things will go through smoothly. Just to let you know a little bit about the house it is a three story town house. The bottom level has a garage and a little laundry/ office type room that is not yet finished their is a door on that level out to the yard. The yard has 2 beautiful trees in it and it is not the largest yard but just right for what we need. on the second level their is the front room and the kitchen. Right now the stairs and the front room has no carpet but the kitchen has hard wood floors. The front room also has a wood fireplace and their is a door out to the patio. Their is also a half bath on that level. Then on the upstairs level their is two bedrooms and one full bathroom. This house was just what we were looking for. It needs new carpet and trim but that is about it. It is a hud home so we got it for fairly inexpensive. We are so excited. Any prayers sent our way that everything goes well would be so greatly appriciated. We will send photos as soon as things get finalized. Wish us luck!!!

Searching for a home

We took a trip this last weekend and were looking for a home in denver. We have made a few offers on homes but hopefully this one is the one. It is a town home. that need a little work but that is what happens when you are going for a hud home. It is in a great neighborhood. Wish us luck!!!

Watching a little TV

Marisa and mugzzy are just wathing a little TV. They love hanging out together. Wherever she goes he is right behind her. It is fun to watch them grow.
