**STASHBUSTERS IG HOP** Week Eight - Card One

Welcome to the Stashbusters 2024 Paper Crafting Hop hosted by @armenscraftroom, @avedamontedesigns, @bkeeleycrafts, @hilarygreek, @createwithkas and @touchofmagik.  Stashbusters post 3-6 creative paper projects every other Tuesday.  Our goal is to use the items we already own to create between 81-162 projects in 2024.

This week our challenge was to use any card sketch to make cards with a Graduation or Celebration theme!  This was perfect for me as I’m going to be needing a few graduation cards coming up, but I did only get one made so far.

Normally I put all my cards in one post but I’m changing things up.  I used the current month's sketches at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and this is number #276.

Just a few challenges for this card:

Thanks so much for looking and happy hopping!  Laters!!

YAY!! You Did It!!

Graduating high school is a huge accomplishment!  These kids survived the pandemic BS and woke agendas and still made it out to conquer the world!!

Or make more at the drive through window at McDonald's than I did running a store.  The world's kinda backwards.

2022 Congrats (You EARNED it!)

I'm just popping by today to share a quick graduation card, my last for 2022.  We have a last minute grad party today (honestly the mom admitted they needed more stuff for college and had no cash to purchase. Shameless and hilarious no??) and this is the quick card I made:

All teasing aside (you know you have it coming, Charlotte), Dayton worked his ass off the past two years, and especially this year when he staged a walkout at school to protest the patriarchy the school board was forcing on high school students without reason.  Congratulations!!!

A GLEE-duation Card

Good morning.  In fifteen hours, my favorite show will have its season finale.  It's the last of my show's finales not counting the cancelled shows, which I don't.  GLEE is pretty special to me.  I love the music, I love the cast, and even though sometimes it pisses me off more than I can put into words, there are a lot of things in the show that are so real it can at times be hard to watch.

So I had the idea the other day to do a graduation card in honor of the finale tonight.  Not a bad idea, right?  In the super-duper hurry that I was in, this is what I came up with.

I think it came out pretty good, don't you?  I made sure to use McKinley High's colors (though lots of schools have red and white as their colors) and I think the silhouette stamp represents the large amount of the cast that's graduating.

I'm a GLEEK, and I'mm not afraid to say it.

Now to sleep a few hours and get some more cards done.  Laters!
