Happy Friday!  I cannot believe this crazy, crafty, exhausting month is already almost over.  I don't know if I'm sad or relieved honestly.

So today, in honor of Jason Dohring's birthday, I made a Veronica Mars themed card.  The combo of the orange and the LOVE?  I'm so happy with this card.

So nine years ago today,  one of my favorite TV shows got a movie and the happy ending we'd been waiting seven years for!!!!!

(We don't talk about the 4th season, no no NO!)

STAMPtember - Day Twenty-Two - Take Two - Eighteen Years....

Eighteen years, eighteen years, she got one of your kids, got you for eighteen years....Sorry.  You know me and musical tangents.  NON VM OR TV FANS just scroll down to my card, this is gonna take awhile :D  Where was I?  Oh, musical tangents.  And music is so intrinsically linked with Veronica Mars for me.  My beloved (and forever ruined) show debuted eighteen years ago today, and I still remember that day very well.  I was in the process of switching jobs so I was working two jobs to fulfill my two weeks at the old job while starting my new one and most days I opened one store, closed another.  I was exhausted and behind on ALL my shows but somehow that day I only worked a day shift.  I wanted to take a little nap before the show premiered and I remember my mom waking me and asking if I just wanted to sleep.  The commercials for VM and the obviously comparison to Buffy (also beloved, for the first three years only) forced me to get up and I am so glad I did.  I loved VM instantly.  And though I initially hated Logan (I think everyone did) within a few episodes I'd grown to love him and LoVe will ALWAYS be one of my most favorite TV ships.

Fifteen Years Ago Today....

So ya'all know that I'm obsessed with Veronica Mars (well, I was, the ugliness that was season four did affect that profoundly but anyway).  I bought this stamp like ten years ago solely because the quote was from a fortune cookie on the show, even though technically that fortune belonged to the WRONG couple.  I like to tell myself that although Veronica put it on her bedroom mirror after Duncan left, it was really about Logan.  She was trying to make herself not want Logan by being with Duncan, but come on.  Everything was always about Logan.  

I digress.

Anyways, I made this card because the show ended fifteen years ago today.  And yes, we had the movie that renewed all our faith in television shows and ships in general, but then S4 happened and...

Yeah, tangent again.  Fandoms do that to me.

So yeah, here's the card :)
