Growing In Unity Day Five - Stand Firm

It's the last day of my Growing In Unity week, I can't believe it!  I've had such a blast and thanks again to Angela and everyone at Unity Stamps for this amazing opportunity!  This is another great new stamp, Lux Girl, and she's another Lorelai Gilmore to me!  I even colored her to represent the scene where Lorelai wears an outfit like this in A Year In The Life.

Growing In Unity Day Four - Cup Of Love

I can't believe my Growing In Unity week is almost over!  I have had the most amazing time playing with Unity Stamps this week!  This is a really new stamp for me, Cup Of Love.  It too reminds me of Gilmore Girls, this time of Rory instead of Lorelai!

Growing In Unity Day Three - Magic of Beginnings

Welcome to Day Three of my Growing In Unity week with Unity Stamps!!!  I used a new favorite of mine, Journee for this card.  My favorite thing about this stamp is that she reminds me of Lorelai Gilmore.  I loooove Gilmore Girls!


And guess what?  She's hiding a secret!


She's an easel card!!!

And if you're thinking you don't recognize that Thinking of you sentiment, it's actually on a bottle-like shape, I used a marker to color just the words :D  ETA: here's a photo of the original stamp:

Growing In Unity Day Two - Risk Everything

Happy Tuesday!!!  It's my second day as one of the Growing In Unity girls this week, and I'm really excited to have a sort of mixed media piece to share with you.  I absolutely love Unity Stamps, and they compliment a mixed media look so well.  I made the background papers with Color Burst and watercolors and Distress Inks first, then chose the part I wanted to use for my image when they were dry.  I absolutely love this kit, Follow Your Dreams.  It's part of their Layers of Life subscription program, which I am seriously considering joining!



I also put a sentiment inside, which I don't often do, but the colors on the front and the size of the image didn't really leave me any space to add the sentiment there.

It reads: Sometimes life is about risking everything for a dream no one can see but you

Growing In Unity Day One - Kindness and Snow

I'm SO THRILLED and GRATEFUL to be a Growing In Unity girl with Unity Stamps again this year!!  Unity is my absolute favorite stamp company--if you haven't checked out their amazing designs you must RUN to their site now and check them out!!

I'm feeling the cold (but no snow this winter!) this time of year so I wanted to make something with Elsa Girl!

Growing In Unity Day Two - Move On

Happy Tuesday!!  It's the second day of my Growing in Unity week with Unity Stamps and I've got another fun card to share with you today!  I used Autumn to create this mixed media card.


I really wanted to put the crackle effect on this sentiment, to emphasize the depth of the quote itself.  It's a good thing for all of us to think about now and then.

Growing In Unity Day One - Love Everything

Hi everyone!  I'm thrilled to be the Growing in Unity girl this week with Unity Stamps!!  If you aren't familiar with Unity stamps, you should definitely check them out! They're a US-based company out of Minnesota and they make the cutest, most unique designs.  Today I'm using a sentiment from the Far Better Things Ahead grab bag.  I like to do sentiment-only cards now and then.
