Spring one day, back to Autumn the next. A very typical September thing here. Today it has been raining all day so we swapped the tees and shorts for rain wear instead. You can't complain that the weather don't give you challenges here that is for sure, you just have to be prepared for anything and the smiles stay upwards :)

Some quick snaps of today's outing. Such a nice Sunday with 25C and even though we said we wouldn't go to the beach today we ended up there after a playground trip. We couldn't find a playground with a sandpit, and we figured why not go to the biggest one for a while?? Took 5 min until both kids were soaked...but happy! Hope you have had a lovely weekend out there... enjoying a beach or if you are in Europe..the snow!!

We took the opportunity to visit another Botanical Garden/park this weekend. We have passed this park a couple of times but we haven't really visited it properly. It turned out to be a really lovely park, with some nice playgrounds and lots for the kids to explore. There was also a nice little atrium with a a forest of botanical plants and trees which the kids loved to walk around in. It was suppose to be a day full of rain but instead we just had humid weather which meant we all got a bit hot after all that running around and exploring. After our park visit we drove into the city and visited the part we used to live in. It was still busy there but it was nice to see our old stomping ground and one of our favorite hang outs were also still there so we had lunch there and got a few of our last Christmas presents while we were close to all the shops.

Hope your weekend have been full of exploring as well... I can't believe it is only 1 week until a long holiday starts! It will be so nice... I can't wait!!

CHRISTMAS LIST | BABY BOY

It is time peeps! I know, I am normally one of those that is blissfully unaware how close we are to Christmas until it is just around the corner and I do one of those mad dashes to the shops and come home with exactly those things I promise each year not to get. The things that break easily or don't really look that great, or we simply have too much of already. Well this year is going to be different. I am going to be out in time, invest in some things that I know will last and be loved for longer than the Christmas will last.

Good times today... Last day with grandparents so we enjoyed it to the fullest with a trip to the beach, icy poles and a picnic in the grass. Can't get much better than this.
