Teaming Up Mama's Mesh and Rumple Ribbon - Mama LoveBug Style & Ellen Makes Our Day ♥

Good Morning, Crafties!  With Mother's Day in my rear view mirror, I thought I'd better share some ideas:
1. Mama's Mesh and LBC Rumple Ribbon - team them up for some texture and variety
2. A fun fussy cut purse I created for my own mother.  The purse has been cut out twice using the beautiful Robin's Nest Sorbet blue raspberry paper.  A white lunch bag (cut in half) was adhered between the purse cuts so I'd have a little treat bag to put in pictures of her great-grandchildren (she really liked that!!)
3. Jaded Blossom die - useful in so many projects when you want a neat shape for a sentiment

See how the textures really make for a fun project and on the bottom add more Mama's Mesh and some decorative flower embellies

Add a butterfly punched sentiment and you've got something unique!

I bet you can create something along these lines that will brighten up somebody's day...........remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it..........cyberhugs........Mama LoveBug

AND NOW FOR ELLEN'S PROJECT!!!

Good morning, Rumple Ribbon fans -- it's me, Ellen ♥ CardMonkey back with another card featuring a favorite color ... and a great trendy color combination: yellow, yellow green, gray and white.  Isn't it just fresh!?

I'm LOVING
my Lovebug Creations Rumple Ribbon in Green Goddess for this card.  Find out more about it on my blog, at http://cardmonkeyspaperjungle.com

Oh No! Kimi Is Turning the Big 3-0 Blog Hop

Welcome to the B-Day Bash for Kimberly Sue Lash Cremar! Her actual b-day is April 10 but we decided to kick off the celebration a few days early! I've known Kim all her life (I'm her mom and she's my baby). Kim is a joy to have as a daughter and as a co-blog spot partner.  She is loving, compassionate, and caring; she puts others before her own needs or desires; she is loyal to her family and friends; and, she is 100% dedicated to whatever she attempts (and she didn't bribe me to say these things!!).......LOL......truly I've had lots of fun crafting with her.  So when her crafty pals got together to throw her this parade of love, I thought of something to make that would be right up her street - something with a giraffe as that's her favorite animal.

Recipe for the double-sided stand-up giraffe:
*PPbN giraffe which I printed out 2x - one in a horizontal reverse; fussy cut and readjusted the neck and face so the card wouldn't fall over
*Jaded Blossom tag die and number candy stamp
*Gel pens for highlighting
*Sentiment stamps from my stamp stash
*LOTS of tied bows using a variety of colors from our LoveBug Rumple Ribbon collections
*A basketful of love

Thinking of Kim's other favorite, I know she loves the color pink. I designed a traditional triple-stamped card using a Sherri Baldy digi stamp which I colored, gel-pen highlighted, and Stickled for dimension.  Again the stamped sentiment and images were from my stamp stash as was the cardstock. SU inks were used.  Bow (of course) was ........LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon.
