Passion for Life Isn't Plain - Mama LoveBug Style

Hello Crafties!  What's crafting without passion?  I am sharing a card that can be used for several reasons - perhaps you know someone who is feeling blue and needs a pick-me-up?  Perhaps you have a person in your life who has made a recovery or has had a great achievement and you want to congratulate him/her? Finally, you could give this style to someone in your "love zone" - purely unexpected but from the heart!

The basic elements are from my stash of Stampin Up materials - cardstock, inks, stamps, punches, etc.  Of course I utilized a swatch of Mama's Mesh from our collection at LoveBug Creations HERE

I found that without the Mama's Mesh (in Gentleman's Jacket) my card was rather plain and who wants that - passion isn't plain!

Here's to passion in whatever you do..............

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple you ribbon, have fun with it..........cyberhugs........Mama LoveBug

Mama LoveBug - First off Happy Birthday, Michelle - when LBC began, you were one of our first crafty friends and we've enjoyed seeing your projects and your awesome talent!!
Since I'm up first today I wanted to share two double-sided stand up cards I made with Michelle in mind.

The first is a purple peanut - but it really came out a pinky purple peanut in the photo.
Recipe
*2 printed out Mrs. Peanut Images from PPbN that I highlighted with Star Dust gel pen and Stickles after fussy cutting and adhering to 2 more layers of Kraft paper (fussy cutting again) to give the card weight; don't want her to fall down on the job!
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon in a variety of purple hues

Next I did basically the same thing with another image - Crazy Cheshire Cat

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it........birthday blessings to you Michelle...........Mama LoveBug

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHELLE!!!

Kimi here with my 2 gifts for Michelle!! The first one is her Birthday Card... With Super Pusheen (THANKS ANNIE!!!) on it! Love this file and how awesome that she's giving them all away free to you today!
For this card I made a file on the Cameo and then behind the cut outs are 3 **NEW** Rumple Ribbons that I made esp. for the birthday girl! They are Purple-licious, Pink Poppy, and Lavender Lily!! And those of you that know Michelle know why I chose these names for this very special set! I added a super hero badge with a "P" for Pusheen and popped him up! I used a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's "Kitty Kitty" set! Here it is...
I put the card on top of the ribbons so you could see them a little better! :)
and before we go to the next gift I wanted to share a little something with you!
These Rumple Ribbons will be offered as freebies with purchase HERE this weekend ONLY! Check out the following pics for info!!

Ok now onto my next gift!! I needed something to put these fun new Rumple Ribbons in to send them to Michelle...So I made her a train case!! I used some K & CO papers, A SVGcuts file, Sentiment on tag from Jaded Blossom "Simple Sayings", The Tag Die from Jaded Blossom, some Lovebug Creations Mama's Mesh and of course a little bit of Lavender Lily Rumple Ribbon!! Add to that a gorgeous flower (that I totally wish I could say was handmade by me..but it wasn't! It was made by my wonderful friend, Tanya Stilwell!!!) Here's the Train Case!!!

Hope you are enjoy this hop for our dear friend, Michelle...
Bug hugs,
Kimi

Here's the line up in case you get lost:

Mama LoveBug does NOT have a machine to cut SVG so I fussy cut by hand. I'm Not Horsin' Around - I Love Ewe was my theme, using the Horsin Around PPbN collection to mix in with The Easter Lamb. Here's what I started with:

These are the piecings that I used - see the lamb chopped up a bit
These are the gold embossed western images from Pink By Design and some buttons I utilized for embellies.
Next I constructed my pocketcard with some cardstock from a farm collection.
I made my own paper using the PPbN championship horse - I took a side view photo of this.
Here's my completed card with a computer-generated sentiment - I'm Not Horsin' Around - I Love Ewe with the Ewe gold-embossed.

This is a picture of the base of the card where I used the horseshoe and a button with twine.
Finally I am sharing the card insert so You can see gel pen and Stickles for enhancement of the images.

Winner, Winner, Come To Dinner - The Winner of the Last PPbN DT Hop - LISA GAYLE -"Indymermaid" -  Congratulations - please send Nikki or Mandy an email with the files you want!  We can't wait to see what you create!

Hi everyone! Hope you've been enjoying all the different ways you can use this little lamb! I (Kimi) decided to make up a party invite! I couldn't resist pairing the Easter Lamb with the Red Solo cup from the "Let's Have a Party" set!
I don't know that you can really tell in the photo but I used some fun flock on the little lamb and it's super fluffy and cute in person! I think this would be a fun invite to receive! :)

Goofy For You- PPbN DT Thursday Inspiration

Good Morning everyone! I'm back with another fun card from Paper Piecings by Nikki's "Clubhouse Friends set! If you haven't been to check out Nikki's adorable piecings...well...what are you waiting for? She has so many adorable sets that are very reasonably priced! And as I've been trying to show these last 5 weeks you can use them for different things than you may think when you see the sets! When I first saw the Clubhouse Friends set I thought how adorable...But I've never been to Disney World (or Land) and I don't think I could use these for anything...Boy was I wrong! I've made several friendship/Love cards using this set! Each one as different as the character!
For this card I used:
Stampin' Up! Cardstock
Plain white cardstock that I used a border punch on
Disney Paper from my LSS
"Green Hat Bear" from PPbN's "Clubhouse Friends" set
Buttons from EKSuccess
And I stamped the sentiment using "Say It In Type" From KinderStampo!

I hope you enjoy this card and it inspires you to think of different ways you can use Nikki's Patterns!!
Until next time...

Bug Hugs,
Kimi

Hi Hoppers! Kimi here with my project! I decided since my only son will be 5 in a few weeks I need to start working on his scrapbook. Oh I'm horrible! 5 years and I think I have 3 pages done! LOL So I figured what better way to get going on his book then to use some of Nikki's adorable piecings! I combined the Baby Boy Bear Card, Box and Tag Pattern/Image Set and the Baby Mine Boy Pattern/Image Set! I love how this turned out! I used some CTMH papers and some ribbons, buttons and twine from my stash! Here's how it turned out!

Hi everyone! Well as promised here is my 3rd new project! I made this card using some pattern paper I had in my stash, some PTI ribbon, pearls, and a border punch that I think was a fiskars one...
The adorable teddy bear is from Paper Piecings by Nikki! He is part of the "Time to Scrap" set! All her piecings are so cute! You really should check her out!
Now the stamp is used is from the Animated Greetings Set from Pink By Design! Sarah has so many great stamps to choose from! Whether you want a sentiment, background, or image stamp....my bet is you'll find what you're looking for there!

Well I hope you enjoyed my latest project and I can't wait to show you some more!
Until then...
