Stephanie's Summer Birthday Tags ♥

Hey Lovebug friends! It's Stephanie here to share another crafty creation with you. While the summer may be winding down, we are staying as busy as ever! Ty has been invited to many friends' birthday parties, so I thought it necessary to make some birthday tags!
I have used Simply White & Simply Grey rumple ribbons from the Just the Basics collection on my first tag. Next I used Caddy Blue from the Island Breeze collection on the middle tag & lastly, I used a bit of Simply Grey and "Icy Sky" (which has been retired) on my third tag. These were quick to make but I love the way they turned out! A simple & fun touch to adorn any birthday gift!!
You can read more on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you today!

Stephanie's Sweet Sentiment Sign ♥

Hey y'all & happy middle of the month! It's Stephanie here to share my latest Lovebug Creations' project.
I don't know about you, but I am loving all of the sweet block sentiment signs! They inspired this week's project for me! Here is what I created:

I made this for my son's room. I always feel like I am making things for my daughter (because, to me, they are naturally easier!) so I wanted to create something that he could have on display in his room. I used several colors of rumple ribbon to accent the top of the sign in Simple Red, Simply White, Shamrock, Caddy Blue, Sunset and Honey Mustard.
You can read more about this project (& check out my giveaway) on my blog!!

Let Stephanie & Katie INSPIRE you ♥

Hey friends! It's Stephanie here today to share a project I made for my daughter, Leah.
She had her fifth grade play last week at school & the final performance was Friday night. Her dad and I both gave her flowers after the play was over. I made this star wand to accompany them in the vase.

I was super excited by the way it turned out! I added some "Fun Footz" ribbons (that are now retired) in the zebra & giraffe print  to the back of the star. My bow is made with "Kisses" simply sheer ribbon from the "Loves Me...Loves Me Knot" collection, and rumple ribbon in "Rosebud".
You can read more about this project on my blog.
Thanks so much for letting me share with you! Get out there & shine!

People seem to always ask... what is your inspiration... Sadly, it is new product!  I ordered a big (BIG!) box of Paper Trey Ink Stamps and I just LOVE this pretty little butterfly that also has a matching die. I wanted to use it so I went to Pinterest and found a sketch with an image about the same size. This one didn't have measurements, so I eyeballed it - I just love how the papers coordinate and that Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations is a perfect match!

Gift ideas with Stephanie & Katie ♥

Hey every"buggy"! I am here today to share a quick treat box that I made for the office secretary at my kids' school. She has been such a huge help to me with various projects, that I wanted to give her a little something.

I bought these pillow boxes at Target. Then I took a chipboard flower & covered it with rumple ribbon in Panther Pink and then topped that off with a bow in William from the Family Ties collection. It's pretty simple but hopefully she will love the little treat today!
You can see more about this on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share!

This week I have the matching gift bag to the boat card from a few weeks ago.  Don't you just love the Mama's Mesh bow and Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon!!  Stop by the blog, I would love to hear from you.

Stephanie & Katie's Sweet Take-Over ♥

Hey Lovebug friends!
I hope you all are staying warm where you are. It has gotten cold & snowed again here. I am more than ready for Spring! And I think my first card reflects just  that.
Today is my favorite aunt's birthday so I made her this:
I used Simply Blue from the Star Spangled collection and added a gemstone from my stash in the center.

Tomorrow my husband & I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary! So I couldn't let the day pass without making a card for him also:
Here I used the On the Edge ribbon in Caddy Blue. I chose the tan rumple ribbon with the edges in blue. Love this collection!
You can read more about both if these cards on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you! Make it a great day!!
The happiest days are when babies are born!!  This pretty card is for my coworker and his wife's pending little bundle.  Simply White Rumple Ribbon was just the touch this card needed to keep it soft.

It's half-way thru the week!!
YAY!!!
Hopefully you saw our Birthday Celebration for Dorcas
yesterday! If not scroll down to the next post to check it all out!!
Today Stephanie, Katie & Kathy have some wonderful projects to share with you!!!
So sit back and prepare to be inspired!!!

Hey every-buggy"! Happy Hump Day!
My son Ty turns "7" tomorrow (& I am in shock)!! In honor of his big day, I made him a birthday badge to wear.
I used Simply Red and Simply White rumple ribbons from the "Star Spangled" collection. I am crossing my fingers that he likes this badge! 7 year olds can be picky!!
To see more about this project, visit my blog.
Take care!

How about some altered art for a change of pace???
I joined a swap with a group of gals I haven't 'played' with in quite a while and I really enjoyed this.  The challenge was a few altered pieces - just showing the keys today.  We were to make them chunky and use vintage-y colors.  I really blinged up a couple of Tim Holtz keys and what goes better with vintage-y pretty than Rumple Ribbon???  Video on youtube and detail pics on the blog

Happy Hump Day Lovebug Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and I 'd like to share with you a cute Thank You card I made featuring some Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon.

Ellen's Amazing 8 ♥

Hello, Rumple Ribbon Fans, it's me -- CardMonkey -- back for another Thursday post.

For today's post, I decided to challenge myself to make as many cards as I could in 3 hours out of a single pack of 6x6" paper, 4 pieces of white 12x12" paper for backing, and some embellishments including my favorite Lovebug Creations Rumple Ribbons.

Here are the 8 cards I designed and created in a short amount of time. I still have plenty of the 6x6" pack left, as well as some of the embellishments:

Come over to my blog to see each of the cards individually, including the three on which I used Rumple Ribbons (in Green Leaves, Simply White, and Caddy Blue), and to learn a little more about how I made each of these.

Lovely Spring Cards and Treats by Dawn Mercedes & Dorcas ♥

Another sweet day to show off two funtastic companies and their crafty products!

This month...Lovebug Creations is pairing up with
The Robin's Nest to show you some dazzling ideas!

So dilemma...your kids love candy.
You want to give them some...but not one of those large boxes of $1 candy from Walgreens.
What to do?
Well, using 4.25 x 5.5 inch Sorbet Papers from The Robin's Nest,
I created these sour cream containers.  Since I have 3 kids, I made three. But there was enough candy to make a #4...with a few to snack on during the creative endeavors!! (Be sure to have 1" Liner Tape and Glue Dots © on hand to make your job more simple!)

I love crimping the edges.

Don't you love the splashes of glitter!!

So, if you are loving these colors of papers, be sure to pick up the Spring Rainbow collection of Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations.  These vibrant colors will add a bit of flair to any craft project!  Now I can give each of the kids 1/4 of a box of candy...
Yet they are going to enjoy opening and carrying this simple, personalized treat container!!

For more ideas using The Robin's Nest Papers and embellies, slide down the rainbow trail to the Chattering Robins company blog!

Thanks for visiting the Lovebug Creations Blog!

AND NOW FOR DORCAS' PROJECT!!!!

Hi everyone,

Rumple Ribbons were the center of attention for my Mother's Day cards.  I had a ball using Caddy Blue.  Combined with burlap and aqua marine glitter paper from The Robin's Nest, my cards turned out amazing!  Please be sure to stop by Crafty Card Angel to see photos of the others and for more details.
