Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering- Exclusive Patterns for Easter Projects

Easter seems to be looming large in my crafty zone – so many to make, but what to use as my focal image?? How about the darling bunny from the Paper Piecings by Nikki Pattern Exclusives?  I used the Some Day My Prince Will Come, which also has a Snow White-ish character too. 

For my card I designed some paper using the bunny image, created a pocket card for the project, fussy cut the bunny, glitzed it up with glitter pens, added a couple of stamped images from Jaded Blossoms Easter stamps, and here’s the result (card, base, and insert):

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering- Exclusive Patterns for Keepsake Bookmarks

In conjunction with yesterday’s post on the lovely and unique pattern piecings one can purchase through joining the Pattern Club by Paper Piecings by Nikki and taking advantage of the awesome pattern exclusives, I created several simple bookmarks, which can be given to attendees of a birthday party as a little favor.  The patterns I used for this threesome were all from the exclusives line.

Paper Piecings By Nikki DT Offering - A Paper Piecing Exclusive - Jasmine

Hello Thursday, Paper Crafters - It's a Whole New World With You In It -I'm sharing a pocket card I made with a new exclusive paper piecing by Paper Piecings by Nikki aka PPbN called a Whole New World which features a Jasmine character and a Jasmine bear plus a delightful Rajah.  Did you know that Jasmine values honesty and purity of heart?

First I took the tiger and made some paper with the image and tinted it pink.  Then I constructed a pocket card using some jungle pink paper and the Jasmine bear.  For the insert I used the tiger paper and the Jasmine character, plus lots of glitz using gel pens and Stickles.  I also made a pull strip for the insert.  These patterns are found in the PPbN Pattern Club under the category of Exclusive. Paper Piecings By Nikki has a Pattern Club.  As part of this, one can possess Pattern Exclusives such as the Michael Jackson Bear I posted last week.  Well, here’s the newest exclusive (he goes so well with my MJ bookmark)……….Elvis Presley Bear………….Love Me Tender!!

I created a bookmark using the music paper I had left over from last week.  I fussy cut Elvis, used glitter pens for more definition to his pattern and then added stickles to create a perfect partner bookmark.

Paper Piecings By Nikki DT Offering and Winner, Winner, Come To Dinner

Bookmark It, Michael – I have always enjoyed the MJ music and when Paper Piecings By Nikki came out with a MJ bear, I knew it had to join my crafty images.  Nikki’s store is found at http://www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com/

This hip moonwalker is found under the Pattern Club Exclusives.

I made a bookmark using sturdy Kraft cardstock and covered it with some music paper.  Then I made a border for the top with a darker music paper, fussy cut the MJ Bear, added stickles, and punched out a title with my SU fancy label punch.  I used my corner chomper to get rid of the boxy look and here is Michael Jackson Bear.

Sorry I haven’t been able to post the winner of the Ring Out the New Year Blog Hop – my daughter Kim usually does this, but her computer is in for repair……….so the winner is Scrappy Zeni………watch the mail for your treat.
