Gift ideas with Stephanie & Katie ♥

Hey every"buggy"! I am here today to share a quick treat box that I made for the office secretary at my kids' school. She has been such a huge help to me with various projects, that I wanted to give her a little something.

I bought these pillow boxes at Target. Then I took a chipboard flower & covered it with rumple ribbon in Panther Pink and then topped that off with a bow in William from the Family Ties collection. It's pretty simple but hopefully she will love the little treat today!
You can see more about this on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share!

This week I have the matching gift bag to the boat card from a few weeks ago.  Don't you just love the Mama's Mesh bow and Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon!!  Stop by the blog, I would love to hear from you.

Stephanie, Katie & Kathy ROCK the Lovebug Blog ♥

Happy Hump Day!!!
Hope it's warm and toasty where you are!!!
Here in Ohio...It's very cold! In fact it's about 30 degrees BELOW normal for this time of year! I don't know about you but I'm beyond ready for spring!!!
But since that's nowhere in sight I'll just enjoy the cheery projects the CT made and think warm thoughts!! ♥

Hey every"buggy"! I hope you are having a great day & are hopefully finding time to be crafty!!
I have another birthday card to share with you today. Another good friend had a birthday yesterday, so I made this card for her:
I used rumple ribbon in William, which is from the "Oh Cecilia, Family Ties" collection.
To see more about this card, visit my blog
Thanks for letting me share with you today! See you next week!

I needed a little book to keep track of some notes and hopefully add a few pics to later.  I used those great red #10 envelopes from a few weeks ago.  There are three envelopes folded in half with the tiniest tip of the ends cut so I have room to put the little note cards in.

All three page sets are the same, Key paper matted on the front, animal print inside, then the more open space and the little pocket on the back page.
Nothing better to use as a closure than Rumple Ribbon.  For this project the Edgy Halloween with that kind of smoky edge is about perfect.  Get yours here.
Here is the cover - with a big button to use as a 'wrap around' for the ribbon.  For a few more photos please feel free to stop by the blog

Happy Hump Day Lovebug Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you my first shaker card.  I finally jumped on the sequins train!

Have you made any shaker cards using Lovebug Creations ribbons or mesh?  Be sure to share in the Lovebug Lounge, we'd love to see them!

Thanks for stopping by!

And speaking of the Lovebug Lounge....There's 2 days left to get your challenge project posted!!! Anything Valentine's Related with any LBC product!!! Hope to see yours there! ♥

Congrats With Flair - Mama LoveBug Style

Good Thursday to the Crafties!

Today I'm sharing a vertical criss-cross card (actually two of them with some differences).  On Tuesday I discussed this card style and shared a horizontal card.  By turning your paper but still using the same technique one can have the criss-cross as a vertical design using two different 12 x 12 patterned papers and swapping out the patterns - this is especially delightful when you have gorgeous paper like the Kathy Davis collections!  Also it's fun to add the belly band of contrasting paper and the pocket insert - use your imagination for endless possibilities with this style and write your own message on the back of the insert.

As you can see I made two different but similar criss-cross cards using the theme of Congratulations - a wedding, anniversary, new baby, new job, retirement, birthday, etc!

 Recipe for this Congratulations
*Kathy Davis cardstock
*Jaded Blossom tag dies and sentiment
*butterfly and flower punches - EK
*dry gold embossed cakes - stamp from my stash
*Dew Drops, pearls, and Stickles
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - Augusta from the Family Ties Oh Cecelia collection HERE

Remember no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cybercongrats..........Mama LoveBug

Ellen, Dawn Mercedes, and Connie, Crafting Trifecta!

Boo!

It's Monday Mama's Mesh Madness over on the CardMonkey Paper Jungle, so hop on over to learn more of the particulars on this enchanting Halloween card.

Ellen (our resident CardMonkey) made this Halloween card using a file she modified from the Silhouette Online store.

She let Mama Mesh in orange and fluorescent green (available soon!) peek out from behind the fussy cut images from Bo Bunny.

Dawn Mercedes says a little tad of LBC Rumple Ribbon will give delight!

Just a touch of Rumple Ribbon can go along way.
Here I used Mae from the Family Ties Collection along with some acrylic brads.
This set of ribbons have gorgeous fall-like colors.
Gather it up while you can!

See you soon over at my blog, Sunnyside Up!
