Here is another great way to use Rumple Ribbon....
Simply Blue, Crazy Coral, and Simply White.

Glue Dots ® XL dot and Mini dots make this a breeze!
It's a shabby chic patriotic card

Doesn't that XL Glue Dot ® make a fantastic rossette?

with
Dawn Mercedes & Connie!!!
Sit back and be inspired!!

Fall is the time for colors and gratitude...

and lots and lots of leaves to rake!
Here, I cut up a Mama's Mesh in a variety of colors to create leaves falling
down the side of the card.  The brown and yellow are soon to be released colors.

Oh, and that bow... Purple-dise!
Just twirl it up a bit and it will roll up nicely!

Hello My Fellow LoveBugs!!
Connie with Connie Can Crop here.
It's my day to shine here at LoveBug Creations and I had so much incorporating
Simply White Mama's Mesh into this two page layout.

The bright white Mesh really gave this red and black layout that extra "POP" it needed!!

Monday's Are Fabulous w/ Ellen, Connie and Dawn Mercedes!!! ♥

It's Monday and you know what that means...
time to sit back and be inspired by
Ellen, Connie and Dawn Mercedes!!!

First up is Ellen
Ellen (CardMonkey) has blogged before about how she likes to take cards that are part of a pre-designed kit, and make them special.  Today, she shows another that she's dressed up with Lovebug Creations' Rumple Ribbon.

"As was once said in an advertisement, things go better with ...." ... Rumple Ribbons, Ellen says in her post. Go to her blog to read more about stimulating your mojo with kits, and also about a fun and unique CardMonkey CardStock Club she's founded.

The sunflower Rumple Ribbon makes this card, don't you think?  Everything else is kit-designed from Jillibean Soup's Card Kitchen, using papers this month from Jenni Bowlin Studio.

Next up: Connie

Friday Fun with Katie, Stephanie & Kathy ♥

Happy Friday!!!!
Grab a drink and be prepared to be inspired!!!

First up is Katie
A couple of my girl friends had birthdays this week and we threw a HUGE party to celebrate!  We all came together over book club and I am so happy to know these ladies.  I wanted to make something special to really capture the last year we had together, all the dinners, drinks, books and laughs.
So, I decided an exploding box mini would be just the way to do that.
Of course, my new favorite ribbon was the star!!
On the lid here, I used Chevron Junkie behind my paper flowers.  The blue and yellow matched this My Mind's Eye paper collection perfectly.
Inside, I really liked that the rumple ribbon didn't add too much volume because that is so important in this kind of mini.  I tied a little piece of Simple White in a twine bow.  It added a nice texture and feminine look I think.
I am just loving being a part of this Creative Team - please take a minute and see some of what others are also working on!!  Come on over to my blog for the video Crafty Khandy

Hey y'all!
September is a crazy busy month in our house for birthdays! My 2 nieces & my sister, plus countless friends, all have September birthdays. So it should be no shock that I made another birthday card today!! This one is for my sister who celebrated her special day yesterday:

(And no, she's not 31 but I'm sure she wishes she was!) I used Lovebug Creations' rumple ribbon in Pink Clouds here.
You can read more about this card on my blog.
Have a fantabulous day everyone!!

Supplies

Paper is from the DCWV "Luxury" stack
Tags are cut using the Jaded Blossom "Treat Tag" die
Princess is from the Jaded Blossom "100% Princess" stamp set
Prince is from the Jaded Blossom "Knight Bites" stamp set

and of course we can't forget the beautiful Rumple Ribbon!
I used "Panther Pink", "Simply White", and "Simply Grey"

Thanks for stopping by!

And now for Katie's Project!!!
WAHOOO!!!  My first post for Love Bug Creations.  I am so honored to be a part of this time.  I am working on a large 3D project all about romance and memories.  I am going to need to some clips to hold pictures so I upcycled some clothes pins for this project.  I ruffled and looped Simply Black  rumple ribbon and hot glued it to the pins.
Then.... I blinged 'em up!  I just love how these turned out and can't wait to get the next piece together for you.  You can look for a new project using the amazing products from Love Bug Creations every Friday!!
For this one, I just looped the ribbon over and over to make a kind of flower.  You can see the edge of the next one where I also used Buttercream on a couple of them.  This pretty pink resin rose came from Michaels.
Most of the pins have a round focal point so I wanted a couple to be different.  I ran a bead of hot glue down the pin and just gathered it to make this effect.  This string of bing is from my stash (I might have lifted it off a swap)
Come back tomorrow for the Wicked Hop!!

Next up is Christine!!!!
Happy Friday!

Christine here to share some easy and spooky Halloween decorations. I made some vintage-style witches hats using gorgeous Lovebug Creations Rumple Ribbon and some paper from my stash.

These hats can be left simple and elegant with just a bit of Rumple Ribbon or you can dress them up with your favorite trims. Please come over to the Scarlet Calliope blog to see my BeWitching Hat Tutorial and find out which Rumple Ribbons I used!

xo,

Christine Barker
