Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas!

I fashioned my project using multiple strips of 1/2" x 12" paper to create the base for a Christmas ornament. I used an ornament diecut for the top of the base, a Mrs Santa digital stamp, Graphic 45 paper for the strips, some flowers, a festive sentiment, LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for the tie, and scraps of Ohio State paper (I'm a Buckeye) to make a unique tree hanging.  Here's some pictures of the project:

I had so much fun putting this together that I thought - why not do a couple more using Julie Nutting doll stamps as the focal image - one 3-D with lots of fussy cutting and paper piecing and the other stamped and colored with watercolor pencils.

Christmas Blessings from my home to yours!!

 Up next is Theresa

Here's our Jolly line up in case you get lost.

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the PPbN DT Christmas Blog Hop. The emphasis of our hop today is to show you how you can create practical gifts for the season using PPbN patterns. Hopefully you leaped over from Linda but if you stumbled on our hop go to Nikki - she's our blog hostess!

Mama LoveBug up first today. I love PPbN patterns to make unique and useful gifts. Here's my perpetual calendar - a gift that keeps on giving - instead of throwing away your calendar each year before you transfer all the important dates in your life - make one calendar that will last a lifetime. The first pattern collection I used is Gingys With Milk and Cookies

On November 4 I posted another picture and write up of the soon to retire PPbN Baking Memories Perpetual Calendar

Here's a picture of the inside of the calendar

Hope you enjoyed the calendar idea.

HI EVERYONE!!!!!!

Kimi here... For my project I used the "Santa & Friends Cutting File"  to add a little something to this adorable paper and chipboard Stocking Ornament!!! Isn't it cute? I also added the Christmas Past Rumple Ribbons as the hanger part of the ornament! I can see me making a lot of paper ornaments for our tree!!! Hope you enjoy my project!!!

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.......cyberhugs......LoveBug Creations
