Bookmaking
I mentioned last week that I was going away with the arty girls for the weekend. We had a bookmaking and slipcase workshop. I made the backing papers previously. I used a silicone mat like you would with a gelli printing plate. I made a lot of errors and used a lot of my new papers [I'll go over them again rather than throw them away], I found that I had to use more paint on the silicone mat compared to the gelli plate and the results are more smudged but my finished pieces grew on me. There were four, all slightly different in colour but I used the same technique which were circles cut from paper. The back spine was stitched.
