Rosenholm Castle, Aarhus, Denmark
All the following were taken at Ebeltoft, Denmark

I liked the look of this building although the smaller building in front spoils it. I don't know what it is but it was opposite the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.

That's all from the Scandinavian cruise

I'm back from my latest holiday but not feeling on top form so I won't be hanging around today.

Enjoy your week or Easter!

Friday Catch Up - 4th April 2025

Doodlewash Art Challenge - April
 1- Fool, 2- Wallaby, 3- Black Heron, 4- Red Hair, 5- Pincushion, 6- Starfish Cactus, 7- Wheel, 8- Giraffe, 9- Pebbles, 10- Tulip Poplar, 11- Sultan Tit

For the large flowers I used watercolours, the centre rectangle is glossy photo printer paper painted with acrylic markers

Gelli Print Book

Gelli Printed Daffodils
I arranged the daffodils after using them for gelli-printing.

The one above was done on a silicone mat rather than a gelli plate, think I need a bit more practice.

Other flowers with the daffs.

Photo Challenges - Stockholm, Sweden
This poor soul has a seat on the floor. It's a rag and bone sculpture highlighting the issue of homelessness.
The rowing boat is at the Vasa Museum

There are a lot of impressive buildings in Stockholm.

I'll not be posting next week.
Enjoy your week.

Friday Catch Up - 28th March 2025

Inktense blocks and Pencils on fabric. I tried using hand sanitizer gel to stop the paint running. It kind of worked but left marks where I'd put it, perhaps I should put it all over.

I had another go at the grand children, it is a bit better but not great. Elliot's blue tongue is from an ice lolly.
This is the same one as last week but I've put in a background

Gelli Print Book [double page spreads]
The face is from a magazine
The big owl is a gelli print, the small owl a paper cut.
The bird is a paper cut
The robin is a layer of paper napkin
I was trying different types of pen, wax crayon etc to gelli print.
The bird is a cut out

Photo Challenges - Stockholm [from a cruise last October]

We stopped here for a cuppa and cake

The narrowest street in Stockholm

I've got more photos from Stockholm still to come
Have a great week!
