Flower of Day

I bought this Orchid at the flower show in July

It looks a bit like a face so another one for Friday Face Off

It's lost all of its petals now although I don't think it has died because the leaves are still growing. It seems more particular to the last one I had, that one didn't mind the different temperatures in the conservatory. I'm still trying to find the ideal place for this one.

You don't see many of these traditional telephone boxes anymore. This one in Scotland didn't have a working phone, it had a box with free books for kids

This little beetle was a metallic bronze colour, it's resting on a plastic peg.

I started a painting today so I may have something arty to show next time.
