Good morning! It's finally release day for the new Christmas stamps at My Craft Spot! SOOO excited for you to see them all! You should have arrived here from Saundra - if no, make sure and head back to the beginning so you don't miss any of the stops (or giveaways!) along the way!
I decided to use one of my favorite new sets from the release again today to make a chalkboard inspired card:
I had so much fun with this card! I started off by cutting the deer out with my Silhouette Cameo, then using the negative as a stencil to apply embossing paste to my chalkboard paper. Once that dried, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment, then added some smudges of white pigment ink. Added a bow using Cherry Red Traditional Baker's Twine, and a few gold sequins from the Metallic sequin mix. I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool, then mounted it on a rustic wood background paper from an MME paper pad. LOVE the effect of this!
You're next stop is one of our amazing guest designer's for this month - Beth! If you get lost, here is the entire hop lineup:
Before you leave - make sure and leave a comment! You have a chance at each stop along the hop to win a $10 gift certificate so you can get a head start on that wish list!
Thanks so much for hopping by today! Have a great weekend!!!
Looks super cool Heather! Love the sentiment! Thanks for showcasing all your projects this week! They were wonderful to see! :o)
