Snowman Day to Celebrate

Hello! I'm dropping by today a fun little snowman card I put together using some stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti - I can't get enough of this darling little snowman from Cool Friends!

Instead of using the coordinating Confetti Cuts, I decided to fussy cut out and paper piece the snowman on there for a different look - I love how it came out! I first stamped the sentiment from Simply Sentiments and the snowman on my Baby Blue cardstock, then masked off the edges and the sentiment and added some white paint splatters for snow. Once that dried, I glued down my colored and fussy cut snowman.

I added some Nuvo drops to accent the snowman - Ebony Black Gloss for the eyes and buttons (for a more 3D effect), Orange Marmalade Jewel Drops on the nose and stick arms, White Blizzard Glitter for the top of the hat, and Ruby Slippers Glitter over the hat and scarf! Finished off by adding a frame cut with Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts and mounted with foam adhesive over the front panel.

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on this card - click on the picture if you want to learn more about any of these items!

Warm Winter Wishes - Winnie and Walter Rerun Challenge

Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is Comfort and Joy - and as I often find myself doing, I ended up making two cards! I used the same main image on sentiment on both cards, but got a different feel for each which was kind of fun!

First up I stamped the star in a soft red ink, then stamped the sentiment several times over the top - leaving it uneven and wonky on purpose. I die cut that panel using Essentials: Lana Cutaways, and tied some jute string around it, tying it in a loose bow.

I then used a panel of green cardstock and added some White embossing paste using the newly released Scenery: Ticking Stripe Creative Screenings. This added a lovely smudge of texture on the background to complete the slightly rustic but bright feel of this card!

Next up, a fairly muted and even masculine toned card:

For this one I used the same star image, stamped in a stacked row in varying colors, then added the same sentiment - only this time only stamped one time on each.

I trimmed that panel and matted it in black. I used some Antique Linen distress ink and the new Scenery: Buffalo Check Creative Screenings to add a subtle background to my kraft card base, then added some white paint splatters. Once that dried, I adhered the star panel with foam adhesive.

White Acrylic Paint Stripes

Good morning! Have you seen this month's Kit of the Month at Unity Stamp Company? It's a pretty one! I put together this little card using it:

I also have a Quick Tip video showing how I created the striped background with white acrylic paint:

This image was super fun to color - I love coloring flowers, and these were perfect! Once it was colored, I carefully fussy cut it out.

Once the background dried, I adhered the front panel with foam adhesive.

Unity Hip Hop - Easter Blessings

Good evening! It's that fun time when the Unity Stamp Company Design Team has their monthly Hip Hop! My card for the hop to night uses the darling new Let's Be Happy stamp set - that bunny is just about as CUTE as it gets!!!

I also have a Quick Tip video showing how I used a stencil and white acrylic paint to create a fun design on my card base:

I had lots of fun coloring in this sweet image with Copics - soft and spring like colors of course!

I love how the acrylic paint has a fun texture too - almost like a chalkboard feel and a very matte finish. So fun!

Here is a peek at a few more cards using new releases that I will be posting in the next few days:

As always, there is a prize up for grabs - so make sure and leave a comment before you hop along! All the new releases - plus more! - are all on sale too, so make sure and check all that out as well!

Here are links to the products I used on this including affiliate links where possible - and below that the rest of the stops along the hop - make sure and visit them all! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful evening!
