Reverse Confetti November Release Day 3 - Tis' the Season

Good morning! Welcome to the 3rd and final day of sneak peeks for the fabulous new November Release at Reverse Confetti! Woohoo! The release is live tomorrow and there will be a blog hop to celebrate!

Today I have a sparkly and bright card using the new Snowflake Magic set!

I started off by stamping the layers of the snowflake from a bright combination of RC inks, die cutting with the coordinating Confetti Cuts, then covered the bottom two layers with a thick coat of Glossy Accents and Distress Glitter. I set those aside to dry while I assembled the rest of the card.

I used one of my favorite dies - Stitched Rays Cover Panel - as a focal point, adding a bit of the lovely pattern paper from the new Winter Solstice 6x6 Pattern Paper Pad, and mounting the entire thing on an Iced Aqua cardbase. When the snowflake finished drying, I attached each layer together and mounted with foam adhesive on my card!

Here is a peek at the new products I used that will be releasing tomorrow!

For You-Hoo - Heffy Doodle Release Hop

Good morning! I'm super excited this morning to be hopping along with Heffy Doodle Stamps to celebrate the newest release - and it is a HUGE and FABULOUS release! I fell in love with so many of the new goodies, but had to start with these darling owls from the new Hootiful Stamp Set!

I started off by creating a watercolor night sky background with watercolors. I also used the new Starfall Stencil and embossing paste to add some stars to the night sky. While all that dried, I stamped and colored up all the little images to build my scene and cut them out.

I added a die cut frame that is actually from Pretty Pink Posh - adhered that with foam adhesive, and then added all the elements to my scene over the top, also with foam adhesive! Sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock trimmed into a banner shape.

GIVEAWAY INFO:

One random winner of a £50 gift certificate will be drawn from someone who leaves comments across the entire blog hop! Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on October 22, 2018. Winners will be announced on the Heffy Doodle Blog on October 24, 2018.

Technique Tuesday Release Day - Beautiful Dragonfly

Good morning! It's the 1st of the month - so RELEASE DAY for the July Release from Technique Tuesday - all products are available NOW!!! Lots of fun new stamps and dies in this release - make sure and check out the Technique Tuesday Blog to find links to all the Design Team's projects for today!

Today I'm featuring the gorgeous new Build a Dragonfly Dies - as well as a sentiment from the beautiful new Beautiful Dragonflies Stamp Set!

I started off by die cutting the wings and body of the Build a Dragonfly Die Set from white cardstock, then blending some distress ink over to add color. I then coated the wings with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with Distress Glitter, and the body just with Gloss Accents. I set those aside until dry, then adhered together - tucking the wings behind the body. The more technically correct and accurate way would be to add the wings on the top of the body, but I liked the way they looked here, so I employed some creative license! :)

Totally without trying, after I finished the dragonfly, I ended up finding pattern paper in my stash that coordinated PERFECTLY! How fun is that?!?!? I heat embossed my sentiment from Beautiful Dragonflies Stamp Set, mounted a white circle die cut with Circles Crafting Dies to create a focal point for the dragonfly to rest on, and finished off with some pretty white jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.

Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By Blog Hop Day 1 - Elegant Mother's Day Card

Good morning! I'm thrilled to be hopping today to celebrate the NEW Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By Release with a FABULOUS line up of talented creators! Today is Day 1 of the hop - make sure and check in tomorrow for Day 2 - there is a $25 prize up for grabs from EACH and EVERY stop along BOTH days of the hop!!! You should have arrived here today from the fabulous Suzy Plantamura - if you just happened along, head over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog to start at the beginning!

Today I'm sharing a card pairing up a new stencil, die, and stamp set to create this neutral and elegant Mother's Day Card!

I started off with the gorgeous New Beginnings stencil, and used it to apply white embossing paste to a panel of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock that I had trimmed down slightly smaller than my white A2 cardbase.

I die cut the butterflies from the gorgeous new Flickering Butterflies Dies, coated them with Tonic Crystal Glaze, then sprinkled with Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I adhered them by the centers with a bit more of the Crystal Glaze, and curled up the wings for dimension.

I added a smattering of Pretty Pink Posh Buttercream Jewels, and heat embossed a sentiment from the new Mom Flowers Stamp Set on a strip of black cardstock. I mounted that with foam adhesive, and then stamped an add on sentiment underneath.

I love how well all three of these new items work together!

What do you think - do you like simple color combos like this, or do you prefer bright colors! I honestly can't choose - and tend to enjoy using both! Once you get your new goodies - we would love to see your work linked up in the special Fluttering By Gallery! This is also a fabulous place to go for inspiration!

Also - if you are looking for a little more inspiration using the new release, I have these cards I posted yesterday using the new UNDER THE SEA stamp set - you can find the details HERE!

Today is a New Day - Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by again with another card using the NEWEST Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit - Beautiful Day! You can go check it out HERE! Tons of pretty embellishments, a couple of the newest Distress Oxide Ink colors, one of the new Tim Holtz Distress Blending Brushes (that I've been DYING to get my hands on!) - and I love the BIG and BEAUTIFUL stamp set included in the kit, also named Beautiful Day. There is also a gorgeous Butterflies Stencil, which I used on today's card:

For this card I used the stencil with the new Tim Holtz Distress Blending Brush included in the kit and the Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink - oh my goodness, they worked like a dream! Once I had added color, I left the stencil in place and applied Translucent Embossing Paste, then peeled off the stencil and sprinkled on Rock Candy Distress Glitter for some sparkle.

I added a stamped sentiment from the included stamp set, Beautiful Day, heat embossed in white ona  small bit of black cardstock, added some black splatters to the background, then paired up some of the lovely Lawn Fawn pattern paper with some black die cut Scallop Stitches. Definitely a bold and graphic card!

LID June Release - Day 3

Hello! It's the 3rd and final day of the fun new June release at Lil' Inker Designs - some will make you laugh, and some are just too pretty for words!! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

First up, I have this vintage little card using the fun new Jar of Flowers Stamp set:

I stamped all the layers with a variety of Altenew inks, then combined one of the included sentiment with another one from the Banners & Blossoms Stamp set. I also stamped some of the wee tiny flowers on the background of my tag. Added some lace ribbon from my stash and a bit of jute twine, a doily, some silver washi, and mounted it all on some woodgrain pattern paper!

And then a very simple and graphic card featuring the free-with-qualifying-purchase Diamond Chevron Cover Up Die and another new die - the Hi Word Die!

I die cut Diamond Chevron Cover Up Die from aqua cardstock and mounted it on an aqua cardbase - texture without too much clutter. I die cut the Hi Word Die 3 times from pink cardstock, covered it with a good coating of Glossy Accents, and then sprinkled liberally with sparkly glitter. Once those dried (overnight!) I mounted them with foam adhesive on my background.

Here is the info on the free set, as well as the sale info!
