Layered Christmas - Simon Says Stamp December 2020 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm back with another card using the BRAND NEW December Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Joyful Season! This kit is festive and fun, and perfect for sending Christmas wishes across the miles this year! The included stamp set by the same name has beautiful vintage images and stunning sentiments, there is some LOVELY vintage holiday pattern paper and ephemera, a fun Candy Cane Heart die, and the newest distress ink color! That's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

Today I'm playing with the pattern paper, ribbon, and ephemera in the kit for this fun and easy layered card!

I die cut the first layer of pattern paper using Wonky Rectangles dies - then just trimmed the other two layers down to rectangles, each sized slightly smaller than the last.

I added one of the bits of ephemera from the kit, and layered everything together using foam adhesive between some of the layers, and tucking a bit of the lovely velvet ribbon between a couple of the layers. I also rounded off a couple corners to add some interest to the outer edges!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can find all the details HERE:

Growing in Unity Day 1 - Watercolor Boots

Good morning! I'm excited to be this weeks Growing in Unity gal for Unity Stamp Company! If you don't know how it works, I get to share my projects all week long, and then pick a comment from sometime during the week to win two itty bitty stamps of their choice! So...the more comments you leave, the better chance you have of winning! I will draw and announce a winner on May 5th! I have been so in love with the Watercolor trend lately, that I decided to do a weeks worth of watercolor projects! I am also going to give away a set of the same watercolor paints I have been using all week - so you can try out the watercolor trend as well!

 Here is my first project:

Living in Wyoming, I absolutely fell in LOVE with this cute itty bitty called Boots, Class, and Sass. Isn't it darling! I stamped it on watercolor paper, then colored it in with my watercolor paints - I purchased them a while back from Michaels.

Once that dried, I stamped my sentiment, then wrapped some linen ribbon from Tim Holtz around my panel. Background paper is by Basic Grey, and I mounted my front panel with foam adhesive.

Also linking this up with this weeks Shop Pumpkin Spice Challenge - Stamping!

Thanks so much for stopping by this week! See you again tomorrow!
