#TVNews Twin Peaks teaser: David Lynch eating a donut

Showtime has released a new teaser for the upcoming return of Twin Peaks in 2017...

A video of David Lynch as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, eating a donut. And that's it:

THIS WAS GREAT!! XD

Honestly, as silly as this was, I'm totally hyped for the show now!!

And if you want some actual honest new content, here's a fun video with the cast teasing the new series:

#TV News! Twin Peaks sequel??? REALLY!!!

Twin Peaks really IS back!

David Lynch teased it yesterday. Some time earlier this year, Ray Wise (Leland Palmer) hinted at being doing something Twin Peask-related soon. And they finally confirmed it via this video:

AWESOME! One of the best shows it about to come back!
"Showtime has given the green light to a nine-episode revival of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s seminal ’90s drama series […] sources confirm that Lynch and Frost are poised to pen all nine episodes, with Lynch directing every installment." (x)

It's announced as a continuation AND NOT A REBOOT! Which is great! From the same creative team. Hopefully they'll be able to get most of the original cast as well. It's a limited series too, so no silly fillers and one single storyline to tell, not stretching it out for no reason. Taking place in modern day (about two decades since the end of the series).

This "Season 3" is announced as a limited series on Showtime to start airing on June 10, 2016. 25 years to the day of the series finale, to mark the 25th anniversary of the show!

CAN'T WAIT!

#TV News! Twin Peaks sequel??? Maybe??

I love Twin Peaks.

David Lynch just tweeted this:

Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost tweeted the same:

And you know what? Now would be appropriate timing to see Coop' back. It's has been 25 years:

MR Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi

I just noticed I didn't cover the entire six Star Wars films yet, so let's close this on the final chapter of the original series.

"They saved the best for last" I'd like to believe so in this case, nerd-rants aside.

Don't miss out my previous Star Wars-related reviews!

What if David Lynch had directed Return Of The Jedi

It could have been amazing!

Here's a fun David Lynch-esque edit of Episode 6...

The story goes, in 1981 George Lucas actually originally approached David Lynch to direct the third Star Wars film - who turned it down in the end.

This is probably as close to the kind of atmosphere it might have had :P

Alan Wake opening - Twin Peaks style

Haha :P
This is pretty fun!

Someone made a Twin Peaks-styled opening credits for Remedy's videogame Alan Wake!
Itself a pretty good Stephen King/Twin Peaks tribute. (well, more King than Twin Peaks, it's not Deadly Premonitions!)
It's pretty good!
Check it out.

(the music is, of course, Angelo Badalamenti's original "Twin Peaks Theme")

#EpicPic of the day - Dat Llama

Easily one of the randomest, yet most memorable (random) scene from Twin Peaks.
That moment, while visiting a veterinarian, a Llama walked in between Cooper and the Sheriff...

Here's a gif for your tumblr page!

Kumail Nanjiani's #StandUp - the First Time He Cried...

Here's another bit from Kumail Nanjiani~
In which he talks about the first time he cried, how the Ugly Duckling his heart and the damages The Elephant Man caused him...

Check out his awesome Pac-Man T-shirt, my brother has the same! XD

MR Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

...and after the show, here's the infamous Twin Peaks movie!
Considered a classic of cinema history by some, despised by others, they can only all agree that it is quite a confusing movie - in true Lynch fashion.

Originally, with all the planned script in the picture, lasting as long as 5 hours of runtime, it was then cut down to a more acceptable ~2 hours run (which for the time was quite a lot already if you ask me..).

David Lynch's most experimental feature according to his own words, make way for....

BestOf Twin Peaks - FBI Special Agent Gordon Cole

Will you check this out...

Someone grabbed some of the best scenes from Twin Peaks featuring director/creator David Lynch as his own slef-inserted cameo character FBI Special Agent Gordon Cole!

Ad - Parisienne People

Here's a very strange ad for cigarettes by Lynch.
I dunno if you know this, but David Lynch directed a lot ads during his career.

This is definitively one of the oddest ones.
Playing in reverse...or is it... or is that the way they're representing the world while under the drug...some form of hallucination... It's really hard to get it!

Anyway, I'll leave it to your own interpretation...

Only one thing comes to mind:
Don't Do Drugs!~

Ad - "Georgia coffee" by David Lynch

Here's one of these Japanese ads as I like 'em.

This one directed by David Lynch and using some Twin Peaks' characters, just because:

I love how random they often get :P
Playing with American actors and whatnot~
Such a fun mixed bag of culture!

Once again, for this Japanese coffee in can.

Coop seems so natural and comfortable in this video, and even the log lady's here!! XD
They do love their Twin Peaks over there.

RR Twin Peaks

It's time for yet another "Random Review", 'haven't done one of these in a while.
This time, featuring a cult classic from the early 90s.

Twin Peaks!
A show like no other else.
Part-drama, part-science fiction, part mystery, part-fantasy...

It only lasted for 2 seasons, but it marked an entire generation of directors and writers.
And without it, I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten any of our current recent productions, these serials storyarcs-driven shows like LOST nowadays (or any of those other Bad Robot productions as well).

AwesomeScenes from Twin Peaks - A damn good coffee

I love(d) Twin Peaks, I really do.
Even if I discovered it quite late.
It launched a whole genre of crazy drama-thrillers-fantasy shows without which we wouldn't have gotten other drama/mystery/character-driven shows like Lost, Fringe and many more these recent years!

This, below, is easily the most memorable and my all-time favorite scene from the entire show.
The quiet before the storm of things to come later on the show. And it so easily distinguishes Cooper from your usual other main characters.

He was a damn fine character...
