Bill Cosby on Trial



How does a guy like Bill Cosby put on a legal defense like this?  It makes no sense.
From these reports, it is almost as if they were trying to throw it?


I always thought Bill Cosby was a funny guy. Obviously if he really has been drugging and raping women over the years, that is really bad. Unlike some celebrity issues, this one is just sad regardless of how it turns out. There are all sorts of public policy arguments, pro and con over the issue of extending statute of limitations in such cases. But when it comes to criminal liability, I am very skeptical on making conviction easier than it currently is.

And then there is tragedy of Cosby's son being murdered. So even if Bill Cosby is guilty of what he is accused of, I am still sympathetic to him on the issue of his son.  

Then there are other serial sexual assaulters who get a complete pass. Why is that?

Bill Clinton also officiated the wedding of Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin. 

And while Anthony Weiner's sexting behavior is inexcusable (and possibly criminal), Weiner's bad behaivor seems to be exclusively digital. Bill Clinton has a way more nefarious hands on history when it comes to abusing women.  And you know what Hillary said: Women Should Be Believed when it comes to sexual assault and rape. 

But we have a dishonest media trying to make a capital war crime out of a Republican candidate's son using Skittles as an analogy, trying to suggest recent terrorist activity was done by the Russians to help Trump, and actively ignoring and burying bad behavior by Democrats.  The word has come down from above, the debate moderators are being threatened with being 'Lauered.'

  Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton…hey why isn't the media going after Bill Clinton anymore?

Maybe because Clinton is white?
How come Cosby is toast, but Clinton is toast of the town?

Attacks on Bill Cosby


Is Bill Cosby a serial rapist? It is entirely possible (I was not there), but (call me crazy on this) I get a bit skeptical about accusations that are decades old. And I also get skeptical about accusations from bitter ex partners who claim the abuse went on for a long time in a long term relationship…like Fifty Shades of Gray (but is only coming to light now). And is the reason the media focus is suddenly on Cosby as opposed to some others in Hollywood, perhaps, driven by politics?

Joy Behar gets downright frothy going after Cosby and Limbaugh (Behar used to work with Rush at ABC back in the day). Coincidence or just pointing out some potential hypocrisy in this story?

Rush Limbaugh notes:
“And I asked myself, what did Bill Cosby ever do to tick off some producer at CNN? Or some reporter? Or some assignment? What happened here?” Limbaugh continued. “And then I had to stop and remember, Bill Cosby has numerous times in the recent past given public lectures in which he has said to one degree or another that black families and communities had better step up and get hold of themselves and not fall prey to the forces of destruction that rip them apart. And basically he started demanding that people start accepting responsibility. And the next thing you know he is the nation’s biggest rapist as far as CNN is concerned.”
When the left feels nervous: Blame Bush Rush!

Talking about Hollywood pariahs: How about Mel Gibson?  Mel does have a friend or two still pulling for him. Of course Mel Gibson's crime was getting drunk and saying offensive things (there is no forgiving that, is there).
