June Calendar layout Happy Camper

This layout is from the June cottage calendar 2022. The die cut in the lower right corner is the negative of a frame die cut. It and the Happy Camper die cuts were cut out using my Cricut. I did ink them with distress ink. It gives it a grungy feel.
The vellum sentiment in the lower right corner is by Creative Memories. The washi tape on the bottom is by Stampin Up and the washi tape by Paul’s head is by We R Memory Keepers.
Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Ride your Pony cards

I made this card using the inside of a return envelope. The pattern reminds me of a Topographic map
Anyway, I put distress ink everywhere I thought would be water, land or vegetation.
The horse stamps are by Inkadinkado. The washi tape that’s creating an arrow is by We R Memory Keepers.

This single horse is from the same stamp set. The frame die cut curtesy of my Cricut. The reflective paper is unknown. I used blue Ranger Distress Crayon on the top and bottom of the card

Same card as before but I screwed up and the Fleur-de-lis downward on tan so I fixed it only to see that the blue ones are wrong in the finished card. Ugh!

Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Let’s Bowl, Let’s Bowl, Let’s Rock n Roll

I sang that song ^^^over and over again while I was making this card,

This is the front of the card. The orange patterned paper is by Imagination Project. The black patterned paper and bowling shirt sticker is by Karen foster designs. The black, patterned paper was a long strip, and I was being lazy. So instead of cutting it to the size of the card I made the card the size according to the height of both patterned paper scraps.

This is the back of the card. You can see where the black patterned paper is making its way to the inside of the card. I made the bowling lane using a ruler, a pencil and distress ink.

Then this is the inside of the card. Tada. The End. Oh no. There’s more…

That arrow, that’s where the goods are stashed. My friend’s son is turning 11 and we tend to give people money denominations same as their age. Soooo, Behind door number one is…

$11. He will like it. And he won’t care that it’s only eleven dollars.
He will be grateful for any denomination of money that he receives.

Floral Friday Bright Pink Card

This card is not my favorite but they don’t all have to be my favorite. The cardstock used is by Recollections. The stamp is by Inkadinkado and I colored it in with Copic markers before I used a Sizzix die to cut it out. I added some rhinestones and enamel dots from my collection. I put some washi tape on the side to make the card look less, and I mean less crooked. It doesn’t make it straight. It makes it less crooked. This card is an anniversary card. Thanks for looking.

Here are some other cards using the Same Stamp

Gingerbread Man Easel card

I used a polka dot background stamp by Hero Arts with pink Umbrella ink. The gingerbread stamp by Stamp N Plus. I stamped it onto a Spellbinders die cut before coloring it in with powdered chalk mixed with paint. I gave the icing some dimension with Liquid Pearls. The border is washi tape and the sentiment was typed up on the computer.

I did not to take into account that there was another design on the other side of the paper, duh!
The circle is punch by Creative Memories. The pink door stopper is a former hair clip.  Thanks for looking.

Dry Embossed Happy Graduation Cards

This first card is my favorite out of the three cards.

The dry embossing folder is a Darice folder
I used a graduation stamp by TPC Studios
It is white heat embossed
The Happy die sentiment is by Clearly Besotted
The diploma Sticker is by Jolee's

The next card: Dry Embossing is a Cuttlebug folder
I inked the embossed words with Firebrick red distress marker.
The border is an oldie from my sticker stash.
The triangle and circle were scraps I found when I was cleaning my craft room.
IMO It’s not a good card but I have a feeling that the boy/young man that received it only cared about the contents inside.

I had higher expectations for this card because I used Firebrick red distress oxide ink on black cardstock. It looked great when I applied the ink but I was shocked and disappointed at how pink it turned out after it dried. What!
I still went with the original plan for this card to be red and black by adding red cardstock behind it and red washi tape from Stampin Up at the bottom.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my new posts.

Because my mom passed this year I felt this was the best time to finish up these fabric cards. I wrote a message in each one and sent them on their merry way. The second one may be a repeat but here are all of the snowman with friend cards.
