2 Different Purple Cross Cards

Purple cross card

For the card above, I used scraps of purple paper to create the background. I couldn’t get them on straight, so I purposely made them crooked. The cross is a stencil with iridescent embossing paste and they are both by Dreamweaver stencils. I had to cut behind the cross in order to feed the ribbon to lay over the cross. Then I attached the ribbon on the front with a glue dot.

For the second card, I stamped the Stampin Up cross stamp and colored it in with Copic Markers. I Outlined the cross with an STA Metallic Pen. The cross is layered on top of Cricut cuts from the cartridge Labels. The corner punch is by Marvy. The flower in the corner is unknown at this time but the leaves die cut is Recollections. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Owl-Who Me?

The owl is from patterned paper. I used a Spellbinders die to cut him out and then the next size up cut it out of a wallpaper sample. The sentiment is stamped with alphabet letters from SNP (no longer in business). The die cut was cut it half and so I placed a Creative Memories sticker over the seam. The brown background paper is dry embossed with a wood pattern embossing folder by Darice. The strips of paper are scraps from my stash. Thank you for stopping by.

KCTC February calendar layout

This is my nephew and his dad, my brother, at the KCTC. end of the year ceremony. I think it stands for Kent County Training Center. Idk. I'm guessing. He went there as a high school student to learn about law enforcement.
So, I made the background with scraps of cardstock and added a few stickers at the bottom by Creative Imaginations. The pennants/banner were cut out with my Cricut. I stamped the letters with Stampin Up alphabets stamps, with SU ink. I sewed the banner on with embroidery floss. Thanks for looking.

I also have This dragonfly card with the same scraps.

I made the card yesterday at the same time as this one. I thought it was interesting to see the two next to each other.
The dragonfly was cut using my Cricut from the image set called Spring Fling.
I layered it to make the wings lift up a little bit.
The patterned paper that is green is unknown but the blue is by Sunborn
So the blue had been part of a glue drip accident.
Therefore, I colored him with a flicking motion with a Crayola Brush Tip marker.
Then...I threw it in my drawer. So when I made this background from blue scraps of paper and I looked in the drawer and came across this dragonfly. So, they look okay together. I added a sentiment by Hampton Arts. Thanks for...Oh wait, there’s more...
Here are some other cards that I found when I put the word dragonfly in the search box. The cards are all different.

 Thanks so much for looking.
