Non traditional Christmas Colors Ornament cards

I do love this embossing folder by Spellbinders and yet I rarely use it
I used small stamps on the inside of the dry embossed pattern.

The tree ornament stamp is unknown as it was a donated image
The pearls on the side are by Want 2 Scrap

For this pink and yellow non-traditional colored ornament, I matted the image onto Spellbinder dies. I found this huge bow that was already tied that matched. It's so thick that I had to use a glue gun to secure it.
Patterned paper by K and Co

Can you imagine getting a card so bright? I've had that tag for a while and wanted to finally use it.

The die-cut tag is from my stash.
I stamped it and heat embossed it
I then added a crazy color combination with distress ink.

I finally matched it up but it is loud and colorful.
The patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View and October Afternoon

Deep Red Stamps Joy Card

I have a new card to share today featuring a new Deep Red stamp. The Santa Claus ticket can be found at A Cherry On Top. It comes in a set of four vintage tickets and is fun for an accent or can be used as the focal image.  For this card I used it as an accent to my vintage Christmas card. I stamped it on white cardstock using Hero Arts black ink ad then cut it out leaving space along the margins. Then I colored it in with distress markers and used Antique Linen distress ink to change the color of the tag from white to off white. Then I took a pair of decorative scissors and rubbed them across the edges of the stamp to distress the edges.

For the rest of my card I used Bo Bunny patterned paper for the base and Echo Park for the lacy border. The ribbon is truly vintage, I found it within my husbands grandmother's sewing stuff. The die cuts were cut out from my Cricut except the small leaves were a punch.

The top layer of the Christmas tree was cut with white paper and then I altered it to give the tree dimension. First off the tree is two pieces for the top piece I ran it through my Cuttlebug with a Christmas embossing folder. Then I made it the green color it is with distress inks. The label it is on was also enhanced with distree inks.

For the holly leaves, they are die cuts from Cricut using Making Memories green patterned paper. Then I scored them using my Fiskars paper trimmer. I inked the edges with a little bit of Forest Moss distress ink. Then I used foam adhesive under the middle of the leaf to adhere it to my paper. The pearls were paink and I used a Copic marker to make them red.

SNP Blog Hop

Welcome!
Each month at Stamp N Plus we hold a blog hop showcasing one stamp used by all our design team. If you hop along to each blog and leave a comment you may win 2 Stamp N Plus stamps of your choice. You should have arrived here from Jackie's blog and if not start back at the Stamp N Plus Blog to hop along.

This months stamp comes with a sentiment on it but I decided to cut the words out and go with a generic sentiment using an alphabet stamp set. That way I could use this card for a birthday card or anniversary or anything where wishes play a part.
So here's my card:

I heat embossed the image with silver embossing powder and then painted it with powdered chalk (stardust) and paint. The powdered chalk gives it a nice shimmery. The patterned paper is by DCWV and the silver paper is by Creative Memories. I used an EK Success border punch and layered vintage lace on top of it. I have these rows of pearls from an old corsage that I tucked into the lace. To adhere the lace I used Mod Podge which the pearls stuck to as well. The label is by Spellbinders, brads by Making Memories and inks by Versa Mark and Memento Inks.

Here is a close up of the lace and pearls. Mod Podge is the best way I can figure out to layer the lace and have it stay adhered to the card.

So next you should be off to Julie's blog to check out what she created with this fun image.
Be sure to become a follower of the Stamp N Plus Blog and the Chalk Ah Lot blog to be eligible to win the free stamps.

Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate Sunflower Image Card

This week at I Did it Creations our theme is flowers and we were sponsored by Floppy Latte Designs So for my DT card I chose the sunflower image.

I colored the image in with Copic markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders die cut. I like the way the die-cut matches the shape of the image.
The background has been dry embossed with a Darice embossing folder. I put Want 2 Scrap pearls inside the visible circles.
At the bottom of the card, is a piece of gathered ribbon with twine wrapped around it.
