Blue Square Best Wishes Shaker Card

I donated this card to a special little lady.
I used a Spellbinders to cut out the window
The rectangle with stamped sentiment is an eBay die
I used a stencil by Gina Marie with distress ink to create the background paper

I make my own envelopes for the square cards. I rarely send square cards. Therefore, this Christmas envelope was the only one I had available. I was in a hurry to get the card into the mail for a little girl's birthday.
Note to self , make more square envelopes.

Thanks for looking.

Christmas Card with Double Felt Ribbon

The new Chalk ah Lot challenge is up and I have a new card to share. The rose stamp and sentiment stamp and powdered chalk are by Stamp N Plus. I colored the image in with powdered chalk mixed with paint and a paint brush. Then I used a Spellbinders die cut and added a Making Memories pearls for the center. The sentiment stamp is stamped in Hero Arts black ink onto K and Co patterned paper and cut out with Sizzix die cut. The snowflake border is one I received in a swap so I don't know the company's name but the lace border is by Martha Stewart and the felt ribbon is by Oriental Trading Co. I used a Spellbinders embossing folder on Stampin Up red cardstock.

Green Good Luck St Patrick’s Day chalk card

 There's a new chalk challenge at Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe:
Include green and chalk on your card or project.

Chalk doesn't necessarily have to be green, just green somewhere on your card and some chalk somewhere on your card. Please tell me where the chalk is in your blog post. {thanks}

For my card I started off by trying to paint the chipboard frame with Elmer's glue and powdered chalk Cool Green. It peeled off very easily and I didn't like that. So I flipped the chipboard over revealing the sticky side and decided to pat green chalk on the sticky part. It worked like a charm.

The stamped image in the center of the frame is Shamrock Spray and can be found HERE. In the shamrocks I glued on an individual bead for the centers. The cool green powdered chalk can be found HERE. The rest of the supplies for this card include patterned paper by Best Creations (stripes) and The Paper Studio (shamrocks) The brads are by American Crafts, frame by Prima, circle punch by EK Success, scallop die cut cut out using my Cricut and finally cardstock by DCWV (green) and Recollections (black and white). The beads in the centers of the shamrocks are a recycled item with no name on the tube and the sentiment rub on is from a crop where they didn't give us the packaging, just the rub-ons in an unmarked baggie.

Heart of Buttons Sending my love to you

I made this fun card by cutting out a heart using my Cricut and running it through the Xyron to make it sticky. Then I adhered the buttons around the edge and put those small beads in the center. The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye, ribbon by Heidi Swapp, stamp by Papertrey Ink and ink by Stampin Up.
