Floral Friday Happy 27th Anniversary to us
This is the anniversary card I made for my husband. Well, we were lucky to be able to take a vacation up north with family on the actual day of our anniversary. Sadly, I forgot the card at home, and even worse, I still haven’t given it to him.
The flower was folded crêpe paper/streamer paper. I had stamped it with a Stampin Up wheel stamp and gave it a little bit of Stickles. The arch die was a Cricut cut. The doily is by Doodlebug. The letters and heart are like Quickuts. And the patterned paper is by Papertrey Ink.
Card made this card for Craft Roulette #219
Parameters:
Project – anniversary.
Colors – garden salad. I looked up salads and found one with brown rice, walnuts, and tomatoes.
Element – new. The letter dies are new to me.
Random – fold a corner. The flower has many folded corners.
Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Floral Fridy Spanner Christmas card
I love CRAFT ROULETTE because it teaches me to go outside my comfort zone. This week the wheel stopped on a fun fold card called a Spanner card. It has three folds for the recipient to open. This is what the card looks like when you take it out of the envelope. Pretty.
P.S. CRAFT ROULETTE Airs on YouTube every Friday night at 7:10 EST. Here are the details in case you’re interested in checking it out.
So the border on the bottom is made up of a horizontal strip of Sizzix opulent paper. Layered on top of it is a border from an old paper pack by Die Cuts with a View. The doily in the center is by Stampin Up. It’s hard to see but I adhered tiny red flowers behind the green flower that form a wreath on top of the doily. All flowers are by Prima.
Next, you open the card and you see an embossing folder by Darice and the wreath on top by Jolee’s. It was placed on the back of the white tag to cover it up.
On the last page/ panel, I added red opulent paper on both sides. When I did that I accidentally bent the paper so I added a sticker by EK Success to cover it up.
I put a vertical border strip by Die Cuts with a View on the left of the white cardstock and finished with a sentiment by Stampendous.
. I’d never heard of a spanner card so I went to Split Coast Stampers for a tutorial. Tada!
(So I’m noticing that these links give you a “redirect notice”. Tell me if you get that too.)
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Floral Friday Christmas Wreath Tags
The doilies are by Doodlebug. Red flowers from my stash. Green by Prima, Green polka Dot Oriental Trading co. and red is unknown. Tags from stash. Right tag upcycled from my mom's work and I stamped with a Hero Arts background stamp. I will probably fill in the center of the second tag. Thanks for looking.

Mimi 1st Communion 2 page layout
I have a 2-page layout for today. This is my MIL in her younger years.
All of the labelings are done with alphabet stamps by Lawn Fawn
The die-cuts on the 1st page are by:
Letters by Quickutz
Numbers by The Girls Paperie
Corner punch by Marvy
The patterned paper is vellum by K and Co.
Flowers and brads from my stash
2nd page:
The dry embossed frame is by Provo Craft (Omgoodness! That thing is so old. Happy to use old stash)
The doilies are by Doodlebug, Stampin Up, and Little Yellow Bicycle.
And then the sentiment at the bottom was a recycled bookmark.
Doily paper by Basic Grey

Blue Doily felt Flower Card
I used a doily stamp is by Martha Stewart. Stamped with Corn Flower ink
The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn and is stamped inside a label stamp by Clearly Besotted. It is a stamp with matching die-cut. I struggle with those.
The border punch also by Martha Stewart
The patterned paper is from a company called According Publishing. They made desk calendars with images and paper that you could reuse on your projects.
I found these felt flowers in my stash and secured them down with a brad. I had to put foam squares under the main piece with the stamps in order to tuck the felt flowers underneath.

Heartfelt Wishes Card
Not one of my favorite cards and hopefully it has not been posted. Seem to be losing my mind. If you find it I would love to have it back. Doily by Doodlebug, stamp in center circle is old one by SU, There's way too much going on in this card.
But I made it so I'm going to post it and learn from it.

Doily ATC's
There was another theme for the ATC (Artist Trading Cards) swap at scrapbook.com; Doilies.
I stamped the larger Martha Stewart doily stamp with purple ink (SU-Lavender Lace). The inside doily was stamped off before stamping it into the center of larger doily (ink also by SU-Sage Shadow).
I sprayed the whole card with Glimmer Mist (Purple Pansy) with one of their stencils on top. Then I roughed up the edges with a pair of scissors before inking the card with Antique Linen distress ink. I used an Exacto knife to cut a space under and to the right of the doilies to insert the metal tag embellishment by Freckled Fawn.
The center flowers were called "Fast Color Embroidered Appliques" by the Franken Trimming Co. Inc. The packaging says they are easy to sew but I adhered the appliques with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
A few other fun facts about these flower appliques that are printed on the company label:
They were purchased at Steketee's in Grand Rapids, MI
Whoever bought these paid $0.65 for the four
and
The New York address of the company they were made by is so old there's no zip code.

A Deep Red Stamps Gold Wedding Card
Today's card features this Crochet background stamp by Deep Red Stamps. I heat embossed the background stamp with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. I did have to stamp it twice, once on the top and again on the bottom of the card base, to cover the card front and because I didn't line them up perfectly. I used some gold cardstock to separate the two halves. I cut a Little Yellow Bicycle doily in half and covered the seam/edge with a Mrs.Grossman's border sticker. The flower sticker is by K and Co and then the word stickers are by Bo Bunny.
Thanks for looking.

Doily, Ribbon, and brad make a green Thank you Card.
This week I have to cancel Manly Monday. This week only. I have two big things to post today.
I won a Guest Design Team spot at Die cut Dreams from the Feline Playful blog hop in September.
This week's challenge is a Thank You card using circles. The sponsor is Sentiments 4 You, which has a fabulous selection of sentiments and much more. Here is my card:
I used ribbon by Webster's, patterned paper by Crate papers, stamps by Martha Stewart (doily) and Lawn Fawn (sentiment), cardstock by Recollections and Bazzill, embossing powder by Stampendous and ink by Ranger Industries, Stampin Up and Versa Mark.
Thanks for looking.
