Sassy Studio Designs Katniss

I'm posting for today's Flashback Friday at Sassy Studio Designs. This image will be available for free on the SSD Facebook group for 24 hours and then she will be gone.

I didn't know who this drawing was portraying so I Googled it and was really surprised at where she comes from. I've never read or seen the Hunger Games but I thought they were about survival and the character in this dress seemed out of place. But hey what do I know. lol

I printed her out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her in with Copic markers and Stampin Up colored pencils. For her dress I used the colors:
YR00, YR02, YR12, YR14, R0000, R05, R22

I really tried hard at making her dress look as though there are folds in it but I think I need to practice more. The red patterned paper is by Sandy Lion and the orange polka dot tape is by Darice. The word bubble is a Cricut George cut and I stamped a Lawn Fawn sentiment with Ranger's distress ink Gathered Twigs.

**And don't forget about the birthday giveaway. It ends November 29th at noon EST.**

Pooh and Friends

I made this layout for my nephew's scrapbook. The background paper is unknown but the red paper is by Sandy Lion. I used some Recollections orange paper on the top and bottom of the square and also in the title. The title is a Cricut cut using the Alphalicious cartridge. Then the two circle outlines are from the George cartridge. For the and friends part of the title I pulled out some Stampin Up alphabets and stamped them with Ranger distress ink Gathered Twig. The brown cardstock is by Coredinations and the stickers are by Sandy Lion.

Don't forget about my Birthday Giveaway. It ends Sunday, November 29th.

Deep Red Stamps Snow Scene

Today's card is brought to you by....

The church snow scene stamp can be found at A Cherry on Top.
I stamp the image with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I colored in the image with distress markers and used distress ink around the rest of the image. I used Stormy sky for the sky and Iced Spruce for the bottom. In retrospect I should have colored in more of the church and the steeple but it's still a pretty card:)

The black cardstock and white card base are by Recollections. The blue cardstock and black patterned paper are by DCWV. The other white cardstock is Neenah Solar white cardstock that I bought at Office Depot. The circle and snowflake stickers are by EK Success and the sentiment sticker is by Sandy Lion.

Deere Dad

Chalk Ah Lot challenge #37 is Father's Day or masculine with chalk.

The challenge is sponsored by Stamp N Plus powdered chalk. These stamps, tractor and sentiment, are also by SNP can be found HERE (scroll down).

I colored in the tractor stamp using a combination of powdered chalks with paint. I used a paint brush to paint it in. I love how it turned out. The patterned paper is by Sandy Lion, kraft cardstock by Oriental Trading Co, yellow cardstock unknown and cording by Darice. I used Hero Arts black ink for the image and sentiment. It gives a very crisp look and doesn't smear with the chalk/paint mixture.
