Orange Boots

Working with one of my favourite colours again!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

PINspirational Challenge - Photo Inspiration

This is the sketch that I worked from:

I used two papers from Bearly Mine Designs in this card.  The black layers are black cardstock embossed with a music Em-boss folder.  The image is from Stamp n Doodle and the sentiment from Sans Designs.  Colouring is with copic markers YR04, C7, E11 - minimal but effective I feel.  The orange grosgrain ribbon is from Francheville.  The music notes are a die from Memory Box.

Christmas Times

A very CAS card:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
CHNC - Stitching - Faux or Real
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/chnc-134-stitching-real-or-faux.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/chnc-challenge-extra-for-july.html
All That Stickles - Waterfall
http://allthatstickles.blogspot.co.nz/2013/07/waterfall-linky-party_20.html
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Goes
http://crimbo-crackers.blogspot.co.nz/2013/07/challenge-46-anything-goes.html

I have used a background paper from MME that looks like a vintage newspaper.  The image is from Stamp n Doodle.  I have coloured using copic markers and then added some sparkly Stickles - Waterfall to the top of the robes for a bit of highlight.  I have added some stitching around the image using a Distress Marker - walnut stain.

Christmas Choir

A fairly traditional colour scheme for this card - it seems a while since I have used traditional colours for a Christmas card:

The card is for the challenges at
Lady Anne's  - Progressive Christmas

CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html
CRAFT Challenge - Christmas in March
http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/challenge-198-14th-of-march-christmas.html

The background paper is from a christmas themed paper pad by MME.  I have added some wide glitter tape on a diagonal - found this on clearance sale a week ago.  I purchased a few different ones and will progressively use them!

The image is from Stamp n Doodle and is part of the challenge.  I just love the expressions on those girls faces!  I have matted the image using a textured cardstock from a DCWV paper pad and then added some red rhinestones as embellishments.

Christmas Wishes

I have chosen a more vintage colour scheme for this card:

The card is for the challenges at:
CHNC - Ribbons
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-114-ribbons-ribbons.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html
Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge
http://www.ladyanneschallenges.com/6/post/2013/02/christmas-progressive-challenge-2.html

The background is from a paper pad by MME.  The image that I have used is from Stamp n Doodle and is the one provided for the progressive challenge at Lady Anne's Progressive Challenge.  I have added a sepia coloured organza bow to the card - I had to tie this one manually becuase I couldn't find my bow maker.  After taking several attempts and finally getting there, I hope I can find the bow maker before I next want to make a bow!!

The matting and the roses have been die-cut from some metallic paper.  The matting die is a Spellbinders and the roses are a Marianne's die.  I'm loving this die and these roses are so fun to create.
