 It is the start of the November Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional theme for November is Power of Words: Friends/Family

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper.   The images at the top of the page are by Sassy Studio Designs but I'm unsure of the source of the three images at the bottom of the page (they may or may not be by the same artist). Colouring is with copic markers.  I also inked a text stamp and applied that on top of the digital paper.

Surf's Up

 We are at the start of the August Challenge at Path of Positivity.  This month, the optional twist is "Inspired by the Sea".  For my project I have been inspired by sea life.

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The images are from Fresh Brewed Designs (surfing starfish) and Sassy Studio Designs (underwater scene).  The sentiments are from Create with TLC (Surf's Up) and Ginger's House (The Beach).  Coloring is with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.

Walt Disney

This month's challenge at Path of Positivity has an optional twist of "Inspired by Literature".  This is my midway inspiration project:

I had a collection of four Walt Disney books that were a favorite of my childhood (pictured on the left page).  I took inspiration from the two larger pictured books for the right hand page - all of these are images based on the stories in those books.

The Lion, The WItch and The Wardrobe

 We are at the start of the April Challenge at The Path of Positivity.  This month's optional twist is "Inspired by Literature"  which can be a book, a poem or a magazine.

This is one book from my childhood that has stuck in my mind so that was my inspiration for this journal page.

The beauty of using digital images is that you can size it to whatever size you need.  For this 8cm x 8cm gift card, I could size the image small enough to fit.

CHNC Patterned Paper - May Challenge


I have used an offcut of cardstock - and cut to create a square card of 8cm x 8cm.  The background has been creating using offcuts of patterned paper on the diagonal.  The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and has been coloured with copic markers E00, R59, R46, YR31.  I also added some red rhinestones.

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  The panel behind the image is an offcut from another paper.  The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and is coloured with copic markers.  I used some self adhesive fabric tape which I bought a couple of days ago to try.   I'm quite pleased with it although as it is fabric it is hard to lay down straight!  I also die-cut some flowers using some pearlised paper and a die from Elizabeth Crafts.  I added a bit of Stickles to the flower centres as they looked a bit flat.

I wasn't sure whether I was going to get this card uploaded in time.  We had an electrical storm last night so I shut down the computer - and have got up early to get this uploaded.  I think I might head back to bed after this though!
