Faith

The sun is back again today so I managed to get out for a walk and enjoy it.  It is amazing how much better I feel when the sun is out.

I have used two digital papers - the striped one is from Meinlila Park and and the floral one is from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from Mirtillamente.  Colouring is with copic markers.   I also randomly stencilled the white space around the image using two different Distress Inks and two Tim Holtz stencils.

New Home

I am not last minute with the Progressive Challenge at Limited Runs this month (still about 3 days to run).  The image spoke New Home to me so here is what I came up with:

I have used two digital papers (offcut pieces from other cards) to create the background.  The polka dot one is from Meinlana Park and the other one is from Spyder's Corner.  I put some grosgrain ribbon over the joins.  The image is from Limited Runs and the sentiment is from Netty's Cards.   Colouring is with copic markers and the edges have been inked with Distress Ink.  I used some mounting tape to raise up the sentiment.

I have used a background paper from Meinlana Park (Polka Dots) and two from Computer Scrapbook (the one on the lower half of the card & pennant plus a different one for matting the image).  The image is from Delicious Doodles.  I'm really pleased with how effective this image is once coloured up - I know I'll be using it again.  I also love how her fairy wings work well with the butterflies.  I have used copic markers for colouring - R05, E00, E31, YG09, Y02. 

Watermelon Time

I have used a watermelon paper from Meinlana Park for the background.  The watermelon slices are an image from A Creative Need which I have repeat stamped.  The main image is also from A Creative Need and has been coloured with copic markers B000, Y000, G000, R05 and R81.  I die-cut with Spellbinders Labels dies and then raised above the main card using mount tape.

Relax and Read

The black and white theme evolved from the image. I then decided to add a touch of red as a highlight!

I have kept the background unadorned for this card.  Matting is black cardstock.  The image is from Tiddly Inks and the paper from Meinlila Park.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC and the flower is one I constructed using a flower piece and a black rhinestone.  The lace is from my stash.

I really love some of the challenges at De Creatieve Zebra but sometimes I wonder if I translate things properly as I use Google Translate to translate the challenge into English.  Hopefully, I have the general idea of this one correct!

The image that I have used for this card comes from Sassy Studio Designs.  The papers are from Meinlila Park.  I have matted using black cardstock and also die-cut a banner using the same cardstock.  I added a flower using one of the Meinlila Park papers and a die from Marianne's Designs.  As finishing touches, I added some Kindy Glitz to the cake and a string of diamond rhinestones and pearls.
