Missing You a Latte

At the time I started creating this card, I came across someone who had adjusted the measurements of the sketch to a A6 card size.

I would like to enter:

https://outlawzchallenges.blogspot.com/2024/05/june-2024-linky.html

I have used some scraps from paper pads (not sure of the brands for the pads).  The image is from The Outlawz.  I printed out the image three times and added a stamped heart on to each of them.  The sentiment is from Paper Dreams of Mine.  Colouring is with copic markers.

The original sketch for this was from Call Me {Crafty} Al and the video with the amended sizing is from Paper Ink Stamp.

I very nearly didn't do the challenge at Sassy Studio Designs this week.  I just couldn't seem to get any ideas.  Then when I was looking for a sentiment for something else, I came across this one!  My daughter's birthday is just before Halloween and she often does something for Halloween so this will be perfect.  I just a digital paper so I can repeat the design.

Rings and Heart

I don't think I've done embossing on a CAS card before so thought I'd try it with this one:

This card is for the following challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Sketch
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/sketchchallenge/forum/topics/wednesdag-sketch-challenge-april-17
Outlawz Challenge - CAS (wedding)
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/sundayscleanandsimplecas/forum/topics/cas-challenge-april-14-2013
Little Tangles - Embossing
http://littletangles.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/challenge-11-emboss-it.html

When looking through my embossing folders I found this one by Couture Creations called "Drink Me".  When I looked at it, I thought it was interlocking wedding rings of varying sizes!

I have embossed some pearlised cardstock.  The ribbon is organza which I have added some pearls to.  The heart that I have used comes from Paper Dreams of Mine.  Initially I was tempted to add pearls around the outer of the heart but I thought it might be overdoing it a bit and probably pulling it away from being CAS so I just added some crystallina Kindy Glitz instead.

http://digihaven.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/bugaboo-sponsored-rainumbrella.html
CDAC - New Zealand weather in April, May and June
http://priscillastyles.ning.com/group/seasonal-fun-challenge-group

I have used a couple of papers from a paper pad by MME called Moments.  The image is Abby Umbrella from Bugaboo Stamps.  I have coloured Abby using copic markers BV17, B18, B29, B24, B05, B00, B000, E35, E000.  The sentiment is from Paper Dreams of Mine.

The buttons are some from my stash.  The die-cut is a Marianne's Designs one which always seems to cut nicely - some of the doily type ones are hard to cut but this one works well nearly every time.  I also used some blue cardstock to matt the layers.

Nativity Card

After finding I had a short of nativity cards last year, I am working on those at the beginning of this year.

The card is for the challenges at:
CHNC - Nativity
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/chnc-challenge-109-nativity.html
ABC Christmas - Bow or Boy
http://abcchristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/01/b-for-bows-or-boys.html

The background papers for this card come from a paper pad by MME.  The image is from Paper Dreams of Mine.  I have used copics to colour the image.  I added some rhinestone stars to the corners of this card.  I kept the card fairly simple in design so that the image is definitely the focal point of the card.

Penny Pirate

I have had this image for a couple of weeks but hadn't had a chance to use it.

As soon as I saw the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy I knew this was the right image for it:
http://seemsalittlesketchy.blogspot.co.nz/2013/01/sketch-30-sassy-studios.html

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and is called Penny Pirate.  I have used cardstock from DCWV - Rockstar Matstack and also The Performance Cardstock Matstack.  The buttons have been cut using a Memory Box Die.  The sentiment is from Paper Dreams of Mine.  I have also added a copic coloured rose to the sentiment.

Just writing to say Hi

I have made a card "Just to say Hi":

The card is for the following challenges:
Crafty Creations - photo inspiration
http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2012/10/challenge-191.html
Sentimental Sundays - black + white + one other colour
http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.co.nz/2012/10/challenge-124-blackwhite-another-color.html
Beccy's Place - anything goes
http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/october-challenge.html

The colour scheme is partly inspired by the photo and the image is also inspired by the photo.  As soon as I saw this photo, this image (by Beccy's Place called Quill and Lamp) sprang to mind.  The sentiment is by Paper Dreams of Mine.  The background paper is one from Create with TLC.  I have added some border strips top and bottom using some scraps from my orange scrap paper pack.

The die-cuts that I have used are Beaded Oval and circle - both from Spellbinders.  I have added some pearls to the Beaded Oval die-cut.
