 It is the start of the last 2023 challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist this month is Inspired by Music.  For my inspiration piece for the start of the month, I was inspired by band/orchestra music.

A Little Dirt Never Hurt

The challenge at Path of Positivity for the month of December is "Sharing Your Dreams For The Future".  My Dream is to get back to growing my own fruit and vegetables.  To me, there is nothing like having fresh vegetables from the garden.  Over the past couple of years, I haven't managed to plant a garden.

U Rock

 I am a couple of days late with my midway inspiration for the Celebrate Something Special About Your Hero or Someone You Look Up To.  Rather than "someone" I look up to, I have encompassed a group of "someones" - Musicians.  After failing to learn a musical instrument when I was younger (despite trying for a long time) and also having a voice that no-one in their right mind would want to listen to, I have huge respect for musicians.  Even more so for those who can play by ear.

I have used several digital papers (two are from Create with TLC but I am not sure of the source of the smaller pieces) for the background.  The images are from Create with TLC, Kenny K Stamps, Sparkle n Sprinkle, Digi Stamps 4 Joy and Nutcrafters.  Colouring is with copic markers.

The leaves behind the flowers on this card are actually from the same diecut.  I just trimmed off two of the leaf sprigs from the main shoot and turned them around to fit the layout that I desired.

I have used an embossed cardstock for the background.  I added a satin ribbon.  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy and is coloured with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I also used a digital sentiment from Birdie Brown which I coloured with copic markers.  I edged the image and sentiment using Distress Ink.  To finish,  I added the die cut leaves using a die from Creative Expressions and then added pre-coloured ribbon roses.

I have used two papers from a journalling pad.  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy and is coloured with copic markers.  I inked around the edges with Distress Ink - Tattered Rose.  I also added a string of flowers as well as some flower embellishments.

Rest Relax Enjoy

This sentiment is something I need to take heed of at the moment.  My Mum has just moved to be closer to my brother and myself as she wasn't managing on her own.  I've been running around doing things for her and trying to get her settled in - which isn't leaving me much time to rest and relax!  Maybe that is what I was thinking of when I created this card.  I certainly can't think of anything more relaxing than a day at the beach.
