Season's Greetings

I've just realised that a couple of the posts that I should have made in the past week aren't published.  Both challenges are still running so I am going to post them now.

This is the mid-way inspiration for the challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  This month's optional twist is "Into The Woods We Go"

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles from a previous challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  The image is from Meljens Designs and the sentiment is from Digi Doodles Studio.

Live In The Moment

I overlooked uploading my midway project for Path of Positivity but since the challenge still has a bit over a day left to run, I figured a last minute reminder wouldn't hurt!  The theme for November is Celebrate The Simple Things in Life.  I have included some flowers as well as reading as Simple Things in Life that I celebrate.

I have used a digital paper.  The image is from Meljens Designs

Friendship Lasts Forever

It is time for the reveal of cards posted in June for the Card Chain Challenge.  I think the postal system is back to being erratic worldwide.  Neither the card that I sent nor the one that was sent to me have been received.

This is the outside of the card (which follows the sketch and friendship theme):

The second photo shows the inside of the card following the Pop-Up Technique.

The colours were used on the outside and inside of the card.

These are the prompts:

The strips on the front of the card are from my offcuts box.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I would like to enter:

I was being sent a card by Robyn in Australia.  As it hasn't arrived yet, I didn't want to look at it on the reveal post so I'm not sharing it here.

This week's optional twist at CHNC is Candy Canes.

I have used a candy cane themed digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Meljens Designs and the sentiment is from From The Heart Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers and inking is with Distress Ink.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the image.  I added two foam candy canes.

Hello Summer

I wish it was!  Today is a wet and thundery autumn day here.  I am nearing the end of my six weeks of ridiculous hours - and missing my crafting alot.  I found myself with a little bit of spare time on my hands today (first time in ages!) and I was inspired to create a summery themed card to brighten my dull day!

Christmas Trees everywhere!

I started out with deciding to use a Christmas Tree image for my tag.  When I teamed it with Christmas tree themed paper it seemed only natural to keep the tree theme going with the embellishment!

Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/challenge-122-anything-goes.html

The tree themed paper is from MME.  I used an image from Meljens Designs and coloured it with copic markers YR23, Y28, YG06, R46.  I then die-cut it into a tag shape, layered it onto red cardstock and hand-wrote a sentiment using a Distress Marker (Pine Needles).  The embellishment is one of the last of these ones that I have left.  I added Liquid Pearls as ornaments on the tree.

Hidden Halloween Kitty

I printed off this image to use for a card a week or so ago and never actually managed to create the card.  Totally different idea this time but it did get completed!

Anything Goes with a Twist - Dark (Black cardstock)
http://aagwat.blogspot.co.nz/2014/10/challenge-05.html

I have used a black card blank for this card.  I added a pocket using some green cardstock and some patterned paper from a pad called "Hey Boy" from Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Meljens Designs and coloured with copic markers - I pulled out some colours I haven't used in a while - YR20, Y08, E59, YG67.  I cut the image into a circle and then punched a hole to feed the black and white twine through.  I also added a black and white brad.  The background was inspired by the fireworks going off outside (despite the fact that Guy Fawkes was 24 hours ago!).  I used two different colours of Gelatos for my fireworks effect.
