Barely There

I wanted to go with a barely there colour scheme this time.  I've coloured this image a couple of times before with a bolder colour scheme and wanted to try something different!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Morgan's Art World - For the Men
http://morgansartworld.blogspot.co.nz/2015/08/challenge-6-for-men.html
Ruby's Rainbow - Man's World
http://rubysrainbow.blogspot.co.nz/2015/09/ch112-its-mans-world.html

I have used a background paper from Kaisercraft.  The image is from Fitztown and coloured with copic markers W3, W0, C2, C0, G000, E41.  I used some cardstock from Rosie's Studio for the matting and added  a silver brad.

Riverside Scene

I'm back to creating canvasses - this image was just right for the scale of a canvas.  Although with all the detail, it took a while to colour!

I would like to enter my canvas into these challenges:
Glitter n Sparkle - Add some flowers
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2015/08/challenge-149.html
Morgan's Art World - Beachy Keen/Summertime/Water Elements

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
http://craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2015/08/challenge-274-always-anything-goes.html

I used some Distress Stain - Faded Jeans to colour the canvas.  The image is from Morgan Fitzsimons and is coloured with copic markers.  I added some satin ribbon to the canvas along with some blue oval rhinestones, some flowers with button centres and a Tattered Lace die-cut.

Guest Designer for Fitztown

I had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for the Fitztown Challenge - and jumped at the chance!  With a colour scheme of red and green, the obvious choice would have been Christmas.  But of course, I often don't choose the obvious!  So, I have designed a "Friends" card using the lovely image Fae 5.  Here is my card:

I have used strips of red and green cardstock to create the background.  The image has been cut using a rounded square die from Spellbinders and fussy cutting around the heads.  I coloured using various copic markers in shades of red and green along with E00 for the skin tones.  I also added some Stickles to the wings.  The sentiment is from Netty's Cards - and I added copic R000 to the centre.  I have coloured some ribbon roses with a red copic marker to match the image and then dotted around some green pearls in different sizes.

I am entering my card into these challenges:

Glitz and Glamour

I have found myself a bit more time pressured over the past week or so and not managed to participate in some of the challenges I usually do.  This week so far I seem to be coping a bit better - I'm hoping the rest of the week will continue in the same vein!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Fitztown - Glitz and Glamour
http://fitztownchallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/ch-61-glitz-glamour.html
Seems A Little Sketchy - Sketch
http://seemsalittlesketchy.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/77-robyns-fetish.html

I have used a glossy paper from Kaisercraft for the background.  I added some glitter tape from American Crafts and a piece of glitter cardstock from DCWV.  The image is from Fitztown and has been coloured with copic markers and then the wings glitzed up with some Stickles.  I also added some faux stitching using Distress Marker - Tattered Rose.

I cut a tag shape around the image.  I then inked around the sides using Distress Ink - Spiced Marmalade.  I then used the same Distress Ink to ink a rubber stamp called Layering Star from Stamp-A-Lot and just used the edges of the star to stamp over the top.  The image is Fae 16 from Fitztown.  I coloured her using copic markers E00, YR000, YR00, YR02, YR04, G14, G17, Y17, E43, E41.   To finish off I added some pearls which I coloured with YR04.

I used a paper from Kaisercraft that I felt worked well with the image and kept most of the decorative part of the paper free from the image and sentiment.  The image is from Fitztown and has been coloured with copic markers.  I then added some Stickles to the wings (as well as the wings of the bird on the paper and the stamens of the flowers on the paper!).  I also added a Happy Birthday sentiment from Digi Doodles and three butterfly shaped buttons.
